After playing every single Soulsborne game from Fromsoft, they're allowed the occasional different curveball. This is an enjoyable take on the experience. If you have some friends up to it, and you enter it knowing it is not the same slow, methodically paced gameplay loop you're used to, it's a good time!

Just do not neglect the weaknesses of each of the bosses oh my god they're so tanky and insufferable otherwise.

The most "I'll just play for an hour- why is it 3am" game I've played in a good while. The "just one more turn" is strong. I guess my only gripe is I have almost no interest in any of the races 3 adds specifically, but the Immortal Empires campaign is rad.
