This game pretty quickly rose to be one of my favorites, it hit that high mark feeling I had previously had with Mass Effect 2. All the characters, creatures and world are interesting and firmly cemented, there's a great mix of historically based realism to this fantasy world. There are so many decisions and branching storylines, combat tactics and side quests that this game is easy to spend a lot of time exploring, definitely one of those games that got its hooks in me and wouldn't let go until completion. My one minor complaint is that at Regular Difficulty, the combat was mostly a breeze, few encounters offered much challenge, just keep button mashing and you'll slice through hordes of enemies like butter, I'd suggest going to a harder difficulty if you want some challenge!

This game was so good, The Witcher 3 is my most anticipated game! Cannot wait to play it!
