Not so much a game as an interactive movie, I guess. Very light on the mechanics but heavy on the aesthetics and emotion. Unless you're some sort of patron of the arts, get this at sale price.

If you loved the original Black Isle Studios RPG games like Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale then you'll most likely love Pillars of Eternity.

Pretty straightforward gameplay-wise. Uncomplicated mechanics. The best part for me would be the characters and the story. "Interactive movie" would probably best describe it. Pretty heavy stuff too especially the final choice.
