Very fun game that feels more and more rewarding the more familiar you become with the mechanics, would recommend this to anyone who loves a good puzzle game and/or throwing people out of windows.

Really fun, I loved the first game but this hits the spot even better. Can't wait for 1.0!

Bought this game to play it with my friends, they owned it from a while ago but they don't own the definitive edition, and for some reason the original version isn't compatible with the definitive edition even though they're the same game?? ? ? ? ? ?? ?

Played this game before and noclipped my way through it for no reason, but played it properly and am very glad that I did. Nowadays source games feel quite bland however this was a pretty unique - albeit short - experience.

Definitely would've loved to see more done with the whole stealth aspect as I thought that was pretty cool, the pit of zombies was very cool as it's something I haven't really seen before, especially not in a source game.

The soundtrack is also one of the integral parts of the game as it helps to create a horror type atmosphere within the game, even though the game itself isn't scary it is made up of dark areas and the soundtrack really captures the feeling of being in tight dark spaces with enemies potentially lurking around the corner.

Would 100% recommend this game to anyone as it is a concise and engaging (and free) experience.

Good game, probably not worth the price at the current state it's in due to it being largely unoptimised however it is fun and acts as a good stress ball in a way, once the game gets optimised it'll be 10 times better.

Recent updates have possibly performed a bit better but I'm not entirely sure whether or not it's due to the fact that some levels (custom ones) are less instensive leading to me not experiencing as much bad optimisation, probably more worth it's price now than ever due to the workshop having several decent levels.

Early Access Review
Probably one of the worst early access projects I've ever been a part of, the releases are very slow and generally mundane, most release dates have been pushed back, we're now almost 6 months on and the game is more or less identical to how it was initially upon early access release, major differences including an alleged change in the colour of a bowling ball and the addition of several items of furniture, clearly riveting stuff because who needs optimisation.

Community is largely toxic and will probably swarm you upon your first criticism on the forum, regardless of whether the point you're making is valid or not, oh and expect the developers/staff to be a part of that swarm because half the time it doesn't even seem like they're even considering your criticism.

As I've seen mentioned in a seperate review, the devs are very good at making up excuses for the delays. So far we've seen like what 0 gamemode releases and 3 new maps but thank god we have edible pizza!

Also as mentioned in another review optimisation doesn't seem to be a strong skill within the pixeltail dev team as first and foremost the optimisation is flat out terrible, and also the fact that they were unable to release a map on time because it wasn't optimised, which they blamed on the engine. (not to mention the fact that it doesn't really matter if the map isn't optimised because the entire gamemode that it is a part of isn't optimised whatsoever)

Anyways I've probably rambled on too much but at this current point in early access I can't recommend this.

Constant crashing, no instructions really given at all, wasn't sure what I was doing for the mouse scroll thingy and couldn't start the second level. I'd also like to add that every time the game crashed I had to start again from the first level.
