Wow! Simply beautiful! It starts of unassumingly; in the beginning, I was thinking that this was a slice of life game but it quickly becomes something grander.

In terms of gameplay, the puzzles are are quite logical and the solutions make sense. The challenge level is enough such that you still need to think, but not distract too much from the impact of the story.

Sadly, the game is indeed quite short; I don't have anything against short games but there could have been so much more that could have been done with the story! I wanted more!

Nonetheless, I still truly enjoyed Behind The Frame, from beginning to end.

Very highly recommended!

A very beautiful and moving adventure game. The artistic direction is top notch and was executed very well.

In terms of gameplay, the puzzles are quite logical but personally, I found the more difficult ones (a couple of the lock puzzles) distracted from the emotional pull of the game.

The art once again, is very well done. Though the story is quite straightforward, there are plenty of metaphors and symbolism that can be interpreted in a number of ways.

Very highly recommended!

Early Access Review
This is an amazing multiplayer shooter with lots of game modes to choose from, weapon loadout combinations, character customisation and much more!

In short, Sector's Edge is a voxel PvP shooter with a very futuristic and clean aesthetic. The visuals, sounds and mechanics are great. Hard to believe this was developed by a team of only 2 people!

Right out the bat you can join an already existing multiplayer game, or create your own custom lobby out of the 9 available multiplayer game modes (Breakthrough, Control Shift, Capture The Flag, Escort, Salvage, Gun Game, Head Hunter, Spire, Static), or hone your skills in the single player Trials.

For now it is still marked as early access but Sector's Edge is already fun as it is with the content already available, especially with the recent bots update.

I strongly suggest joining the official Discord group, as the community is much larger than you may see just joining the game randomly. There are plenty matches that anybody can join, multilingual chat channels, streams, memes and all the usual community stuff.

Most importantly, the developers are very active in the community and give regular updates and announcements.

Sector's Edge as it is now is a great game and very highly recommended to fans of multiplayer shooters. Expect to see even more great features, updates and tweaks as time goes by!

I've played Rez on just about every console it has ever been on. It never gets old. Seeing your avatar zip around while doing barrel rolls flying through cyberscapes, shooting down enemies while your lasers create musical sounds as they lock on and fire, all while the pumping techno soundtrack blares...it's just amazing.

The music and sounds, the visuals, the haptic feedback all work together so beautifully.

I recently just got a VR Headset specifically for this game, and holy crap, every hair on my body stood on its end as I first played through. I had the chills. It's simply breathtaking.

When I first played the original Rez on a PAL system, I was instantly hooked by the music, theming and visuals. Then it got the HD remake. Now we have it on VR; Rez is almost two decades old and I truly believe it was conceptualised to be made as a VR game. Rez is a fine wine that just gets better.

In short, even without a VR headset, my opinion is this game is a 100% must buy! A true gem!

Even just the music itself is worth it. For the original Rez tracks (they're all in very futuristic techno, that to this day still does not sound dated at all), Buggie Running Beeps (Area 1) is an absolute bop, Protocal Rain (Area 2) has great drum samples, Creation The State of Art (Area 3) is just plain crazy (no surprise since it was created by the legendary Ken Ishii), Rock Is Sponge (Area 4) is the most minimal but probably the most intense, finishing off with Fear Is The Mind Killer (Area 5) by Adam Freeland for a killer breaks track.

The newer soundtrack to Area X is more commercial house sounding and also just simply amazing. Similar to the music that gets used in the sequel Child of Eden, which are more progressive-house remixes of tracks by the band Genki Rockets (this needs a VR port!!!). I have no other words for the beauty of Area X in VR. It is an absolute wonder, I literally had the chills all throughout. I highly suggest looking into Child of Eden for more experiences like Area X. Please please we need a VR remake of Child of Eden!!! :'(

TLDR: This is an absolute must buy if you're a fan of EDM and good music in general, amazing visuals, good trips, synaesthesia and rail shooters.

A great addition to the follow up. The original was tragic, but this may be more so because of the foregone conclusion. Worth it. The backstage, as per the original is an endearing bonus.

I keep editing this review but I have nothing more to add to what the previous reviewers have already said. I can just echo that this is an absolute masterpiece.
