Listen, there are some rough patches and it isn't close to perfect. That being said thought, 343 is I guess kinda trying, and for the most part they are succeeding. More recently they are reclaiming the fan base with new maps, content. And I am actually starting to believe halo may be saved. The game is very well balanced and loads of fun (especially with the content they have now) and I'd recommend it. If you are tired of the one hit kill of other fps shooters you are in the right place. The big health bars allow for longer battles with more time to develop skills. And also allow for the oh so amazing punches. Like beating your enemies? Oh boy is this the game for you. Melee is a huge part of pvp and a very fun part I might add. Yes queue times are a little slow. Yes they are like every game with the battle pass. Yes Halo is no longer at the height of popularity. But for all of those faults, there is a certain spark to halo that makes it fun to play for hours. How else does it have such a dedicated fanbase. Also campaign is good, you can hop right in without knowing too much about previous Halo games and play for hours. Bosses are tough, side missions are fun. Maybe I wish for a little more content, but I was happy for what I did play.
