This was honestly one of the best gaming experiences in my life.

- Freedom to travel all around and explore almost all of Greece! Seriously, the map is huge. And all the different biotops - from pines in Makedonia to sands of Crete. And everything in between is yours to explore.
- Pretty interesting story. Yeah, it's not the OG AC anymore, but still. Plot twists, tailored story, choices matter, .... It's very nice.
- Gods, the voice acting was strong then.
- Some real historical Greeks. And a bunch of mythological beings. But kinda on different storylines, so it really feels like two games?
- Customizable clothes, weapons... And there's a lot of them!
- Combat style: Stealth is quick and feels rewarding, combat is engaging, though still "realistic".

Seriously, give it a try!

It's a good game. As everybody says, if you liked Far Cry, especially Far Cry Primal (collecting resources, primitive crafting and hunting weird animals) and loved James Cameron's Avatar, you will enjoy this. The visuals are absolutely stunning, the world is huge and the action is just what you'd expect from an Avatar game. Here comes the but:

The writing sucks so much. It's like a Far Cry made for kids. Makes me reconsider to actually recommend this game to folks who didn't play or enjoy Far Cry series that much. Story-wise, everything is over-explained to the point it becomes tedious. Dialogues are dry, slow, with little emotions. It slows the entire game down. Similar to Far Cry 6's guerrilla fighters who calmly tell you "Dani, blah blah blah..." after you just crashed a plane full of bullet holes next to them.

As for the price: Technical game developers and graphic designers definitely deserve this amount of money. Ubisoft executives, dialogue writers and dubbing actors probably don't. Story as if written for children, narrated just the same way, bland characters who tick diversity boxes and almost no energy/action from the characters/their dubbing actors. And that's not something that will improve in future updates.

Get the game on sale. Then it's probably worth the money - for the visuals, parkour and shooting. And support the graphic/VFX team on their social media, they deserve it. The rest is a post-2020 Ubisoft "AAAA-title" that smells and tastes like Brussels sprouts.

Review notes:

Update 1: First game crash after 3.3 hours of gameplay.
Update 2: First bugs after 5 hours of gameplay (UI not showing properly, bioluminescence bugs).
Update 3: After 10 hourse, I made it to the Moth mission where you fly as the Queen Moth and the game keeps crashing right there. Crashed for the 3rd time in a row. Not even in the same spot. It also needs some technical polishing to be selling for 70 €.

I might have underestimated some horror elements of this game. It's nice, great rewarding gun combat, souls-like playstyle, but the zombie sounds that even the most basic enemies make + the feeling of getting overcrowded while you're trying to take down a big enemy and you're low on ammo... I'm getting too old for this sh!t.

I got it for 10€ on a sale and, honestly, kinda worth it for that money.

I used to play L4D and L4D2 a lot back in the day – this is essentially it's successor with the playstyle, while the graphics and the ambience are truly nice. However, it really lags behind its older brother by not having a Steam Workshop (pls devs, come on). MP is nice, SP and COOP campaign is fun, but after you beat it once... there just isn't much to come back to.

If you enjoyed shooting and smashing zombies in L4D or you're looking for a game to play with friends, get this – idk about full price, but in discount it's definitely a nice pick.

I'm sorry guys, this isn't the Just Cause we know. Might give it another shot later, but it definitely isn't the same relaxing open-world destroy-all shooter we are familiar with. If you're looking for some reckless fun, go get JC3. Even graphics seem better with JC3, it's easier to navigate than JC4. This one is like the emo brother. Music, colors, dubbing too... it just feels very different.

I didn't expect much from this game and...

Oh, boy, how wrong I was.

Whether or not are you a Metro veteran, you will definitely enjoy everything.

Starting off with:
Multiple beautiful maps:
You get to play in Winter cities, Summer Desert, Autumn-y forests and, obviously, the underground (though not as much as in the previous games, now maybe for like 15-20% of the game?).

You get to travel across Russia and it literally made me want to visit the country. It is just mesmerizingly wonderful.

FPS gameplay:
Amazingly balanced – customizable difficulty, "feels-heavy" movement, but quick and fun gunplay. You can play in stealth (personally recommend especially on the Taiga level) or shoot everything up, but beware, not only you may alert more enemies, you may also change the outcome of the story!

Guns are amazing, very customizable, though locked until some levels, but in a New Game+, you get them all in the beginning, so it's really fun to explore the game once again.

Usually, the game is more of a open-world FPS shooter, but on certain maps and areas, it is the genuine close-quarters combat you may know from previous Metro games.

And last but not least...

The characters and the story:
Brilliant! Great writing (especially if you're familiar with the Metro (back)story from older games (I highly recommend them too) or the books.

Even if you haven't played the games, or read the books, you will still have an amazing time falling in love with characters, living the story with them.

If you have gotten here, then do not hesitate and trust me – it is worth every penny even at full price, so if it has a nice sale tag on it, grab it also with the DLCs this instant, they are also absolutely amazing!

Whether do I recommend this game?

Yes, the full price of 4.99€ is definitely worth it!

Although, the developer could at least fix all the terrible bugs, which make this game unplayable at some points.

Surely, you will enjoy the brilliant combination of physics, timing and the lovely sentiment of satisfaction, when you succeed to save, ehrm, Mr. Ronald Rump.

However, be prepared for moments of rage and agony, because most of the time it's terribly hardcore.

But in the end, this game brings enjoyement, from the Golden Hair to the Golden Shoes! So if you are considering the purchase of this game, don't; pay the bloody 4.99€, buckle up and JUMP, to save this ragdoll, which you definitely would not cover in the real life!
