Supergiant Games always tries to use different genres of games to explore how they can deliver a great story. So far, this is definitely the largest project they've done and they've did it really well!

Still, the game is a rogue-lite at it's core, and if you don't like the idea of replaying the same stages for hours on end to progress story and dialogue, you should look elsewhere. For me, the grind is it's own reward and the story is just the cherry on top.

I only hope that Supergiant consider making additional content packs for this game because this game feels like it can do so much more with expansions.

Hollow Knight = Metroid + Dark Souls + A Bug's Life

If you enjoy metroidvanias, this is the game for you. If not, then enjoy the 30 hours of gameplay you'll get from your first playthrough.

RoR 2 is a very good sequel that ups the ante of it's predecessor! I feel that the game is very polished gameplay-wise and runs smoothly without any issues.

There are some small details to clean up with it's graphics and that's about it.

It's that good.
The amount of detail, depth and determination this game has is amazing.

Buy it or you'll end up being miserable forever.
