Early Access Review
It's a quirky lil game that could use a little more polish (movelists and training mode are super barebones so learning a character is a little harder than it needs to be) but I had a good time booting it up and running matches with friends

Them's Fighting Herds was one of my favorite releases of the last few years. I've bought the game twice, gifted many copies (digital and physical), bought T-Shirts, preached about its quality to all that would listen, and basically stopped short of directly mailing cash to the developers to show how much I appreciate the years of work and love poured into the game.

Do not pay for Them's Fightin Herds. Do not give money to Maximum. The publisher has completely wrecked the game and has it in an unacceptable broken and buggy state that is not likely to be fixed as there's not even much of a skeleton crew left and I doubt are going to be working for much longer as Maximum move on to the next pursuit of cash.

Still one of the greatest games ever, and the 25th anniversary update has only made it better.
If you have any interest in singleplayer FPS games you need to give it a shot (as well as the extensive modding scene this game cultivated)

Quirky indie RPG inspired by lesbians.
A game that had it's hooks in me right away with amazing writing that made me cry as much as it did rolling on the floor laughing.

I've never had so much fun learning to type with friends before getting this game.

Don't buy this full price, it's really really short, but on sale it's worth checking out.
It's a fun platformer for like the hour or two it takes to complete it. The controls work wonderfully well, and while the variety of obstacles is pretty lacking, the levels themselves are fun to zip through.

Picked this up for $2 on sale in "anticipation" of the new game.
Ehhh, it's alright. Not the best by any stretch of the imagination, but IMO not really deserving of the infamy it's gathered either The difficulty is cheap, no doubt about it, but if you can tolerate that kind of thing it's a good time killer.

The emulation is definately a downside though. While I see why they didn't bundle it with the actual PC port, the emulator running the games makes ZSNES look like Higan. The audio can be downright awful at times, which is baffling since the SNES was renowned for it's sound capabilities.
