I've only played an hour of the game but thus far it has been interesting. Starting out, I was a bit surprised with the Devil character as well as the general look of your own character and NPCs; I'm not sure if the spooky undertone is intentional, but it definitely gives a certain aura - I may be overthinking this detail though. Otherwise the game itself is not scary, and the graphics and smooth movement are quite cute. It gives Animal Crossing vibes mixed with PlateUp! / Overcooked. It definitely has potential and I'm willing to wait it out.

Also to note, I played the entire hour in online CO-OP mode. And while I believe that the game still needs a bit of polishing, the main issue that my partner experienced was lag and game crashing, especially after playing through the tutorial. It would kick them out at random, and joining back seemed to be a struggle (long wait time and multiple attempts needed). And to note, my partner was sitting right next to me the whole time on their own PC. We're willing to jump back into the game once the connection issues stabilize.

I absolutely love this game. It is my favorite type of genre - colony simulation/sim management/materials building/survival while taking heed to your location choice and neighboring relations. If you're familiar with such genres, it's like a mesh of Banished and the Sims series, with a dash of the Civilization games plus Minecraft in there. It will keep you busy for hours as you have to constantly manage and upkeep building material and the colonists needs and wishes. I have grown to love it each step of the way. The more I play it, the more I want to support this game. The Steam workshop is beginning to fill with very helpful mods as well, so be on the lookout there. The dev(s) are brilliant and I am so glad to have purchased and supported such a game. More hours to come, so thank you dev(s).
