Just played a couple of rounds with some friends a little earlier, this game's a lot of fun, and well worth the asking price!

I've given both the Write a Riff and PIck a Riff modes a try, and while Write a Riff is definitely the more fun of the two for me, I appreciate Pick A Riff's more Cards Against Humanity style play (Though we did encounter the slight frustration of 'None of these riffs work' even after using the once-per-game hand shuffle).

All in all, if you like making fun of bad movies with friends and you've always wanted to improv your own lines to some of Rifftrax's classics, I heartily recommend this game!

This is an incredibly cute and relaxing take on the factory-building genre of games - It almost feels like you're playing with a little toy set that grows and grows! Starting with a few buildings and a handful of villagers, you'll eventually build your way up to a sustainable, automated city. The best part is there's no pressure, no worry about wasting materials - Your villagers will never starve or fall ill, and you'll get refunded all the materials when you scrap a building.

Lovely game for when you want to sit back for an evening and just watch things work.

OpenTTD is an open-source remake of the original Transport Tycoon Deluxe that has been in continuous development for a great, many years. It's a wonderfully engrossing tycoon game with a lot of tweaks and updates to keep it playable even to this day! It's been cited as an inspiration for other highly successful logistics games such as Factorio, so it's definitely worth a look.

Plus, it's free! You can just add this to your Steam account and be sure that you'll always have an up-to-date build of the game, and I think that's wonderful. Thank you, OpenTTD devs, for keeping this project alive and bringing it to Steam!

A charmingly cheeky little logic puzzler, I had a blast with this game! It's a short adventure, but well worth the pricetag they're asking for. The custom pronoun options are a little winner for me, too! The characters are endearing, there's a lot of fun little back-and-forth between them, and the twist near the end was pulled off quite well!

For a sleuth 'em up set in a single room, this was a blast, and I'd love to see more of Seeker and co. in the future!

Someone, somewhere, decided "What if we made a sidescrolling game with falling-sand physics?". Absolute genius, always fun to come back to for short runs, again and again.

I used to play a lot of Red Alert with my brother via PS1 Link Cable, so when the Remastered Collection was announced I was super excited to play. Thanks to some very close collaboration between the developers and their community, this remaster really feels like a labour of love. The soundtrack is amazing, the graphics have really been given a solid work-over making it more clear which unit is which, the cinematics are a little wonky as a result of upscaling but they look gorgeous, all around.

I think the only complaint I have at the moment is that, as far as I can tell, it's impossible to password protect or 'friends/invite-only' a multiplayer lobby, which means we have to deal with a lot of random players joining our lobby unprompted (and conversely, means that people looking for a quick public game are going to find themselves getting kicked out of a lot of lobbies).
If I'm wrong about that, however, please feel free to correct me in the comments of this review (And devs, if this is a problem and you end up patching it, also let me know in the comments of this review. Thank you!)

Aside from that relatively minor issue, this is a wonderful, wonderful remaster of not one, but two wonderful games, for just $20. While I only really played RA as a kid, being able to check out Tiberium Dawn at my leisure is fantastic!

This is an incredibly satisfying game to play and I look forward to seeing how it progresses over the course of its development! While I cannot recommend buying the game in its current state unless you want to help the developers by testing it, I can heartily recommend following this game's development and either waiting for its full release, or hopping in when you think it's an experience you'd like playing.

To actually describe it properly, the game is essentially an action movie simulator - you can make your own actor - even name your own movie studio, and then hop into one of a number of fairly short yet action packed scenarios. The gunplay feels tight - in much the way that a classic 80s action movie would, you can dual wield anything. To add on to this, the game encourages mobility with a number of different moves such as sliding and diving, and rewards players who use that mobility by recharging their bullet-time meter.

After all's said and done, the baddies are dead and you walk out of there, you're given the chance to watch it as if it were a movie scene starring your custom character, made by your custom movie studio. This particular feature is still very early in development at the time of writing this review, and is as a result buggy as hell, but I already adore the idea of this FPS/Movie Maker hybrid, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it improves over time!

All in all, if you wanna feel like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ action movie star, this game can scratch that itch. Pick it up and help the devs, or at least keep an eye on its development until you feel it's ready!

This game is incredibly charming, cute and actually a lot of fun to play, all in one package.

To preface this, my usual stance on Battle Royale games is mixed while I like the idea of battle royale games on paper - the idea of grabbing what you can and holding off against a bunch of other players in an ever-enclosing arena, quite often in execution they can foster some pretty awful, toxic communities.

With SAR this is simply not the case. It has one of the most welcoming, fun communities I've seen, and the amount of love the developers put into this game is very much visible, from the designs of the animals, to the myriad cosmetic items, even as far as having a little Youtube series set in the game world to expand on its lore.

There is no pay-to-win, there are no paid lootboxes (The closest you get to paid cosmetics is the Founder's Edition package and even then, the devs straight up tell you what's contained within that package!) - The bulk of cosmetics and content are unlocked simply by playing the game, while others are tied to seasonal events. Every time you win or die in a match, you can see what your chance of unlocking a new cosmetic is - this chance increases the more matches you play without receiving a reward, and the amount of time you stay alive in a match further boosts your chances at getting something, in essence rewarding survival tactics over hunting for kills!

The game itself plays much like a twin-stick shooter, portrayed from a top-down perspective and being very focused on fast-paced run-and-gun gameplay, with matches being very quick to finish. Perhaps unique to this game as well is the potential to win a match as a pacifist - you even get a reward the first time you pull this feat off!

All in all, this game is a lot of fun, whether you're just playing a couple quick matches to kill a few minutes, or spending a few hours having a blast with a friend or three in the Duos and Squads modes, and I can't recommend it enough!

For ten quid this is a blast. It's just a lot of fun figuring out mixtures via trial and error, making money and finding out the unfortunate results of your mixtures - I mixed some stearic acid with some pheromones for some body oil - apparently one of the first customers to use my revolutionary product ended up catching fire from friction.

It's also just really fun being able to throw flasks and stuff around the room when you're getting frustrated at being unable to figure out a recipe, so I have to give it marks for that too.

All in all it's a fantastic experience and I'll be playing about with this some more for sure!

VN Maker is everything I was hoping it'd be - An easy to use piece of software for creating visual novels and adventure games, coupled with many of the features that I enjoy from RPGMaker, including Switches and the Resource Manager!

My only real complaint so far is, like a few others, a lack of easily accessible tutorials, but I'm sure in time that'll be addressed. While I haven't encountered any bugs myself I've heard they've been getting fixed pretty quickly, which is a big plus, too! Personally I'd say it's worth the price, and I'm looking forward to seeing what others make with this software!
