I have rarely seen games as poorly optimized than this one
3080, 4K, DLSS performance, Low Shadows/Med textures, not RT, nothing fancy, and I cant' play at 60 fps, having horrible drops regularly below 30 fps. It's unplayable, HDR doesn't work on my LG C2. Don't spend money on this.

After building a new PC with 9800X3d/5080, game runs smoothly, and is awesome. But that doesn't change my initial review.

A good zombie game. BUT also a game plagued by (bad, horrible) AI-generated artworks. They even fired Sam Maxis voice actor because she protested against the use of AI in voice dubbing. A 80€ game must be made by artists, not IP-stealing algorithms. A very disappointing move from Activision which goes AGAINST Steam's guidelines on AI because the use of AI is not disclosed.

Baldur's gate 3 set the bar too high for poor, little, independant studios like Bethesda.

Ok, mettre Geralt et "The Witcher" sur l'artwork est trompeur, car Geralt n'apparaît que quelques minutes. Il ne sert à rien dans cette histoire excellente qui aurait très bien pu se dérouler sans lui. Reste des puzzles sympa, des superbes musiques, un doublage VO excellent. L'aspect deck bulding est pas trop présent ou contraignant, tant mieux.

With some mods to make the combats much easier and much quickier, I enjoyed this game. Sure it was a bit too easy, but I was tired of getting steamrolled by level 3 nekkers, I just wanted to see the story. The game shows its age (10 years) and you can see it with its inventory, quest log, or map layout which are irritating in 2022 to say the least. Other than that, story and dialogues are excellent as usual so I would recommend playing it with mods (The Geralt of Rivia Mod gives you all talents) to enjoy the show those days.

Unplayable with a 3080 FFS random performance drops
