Bit of a mixed experience, had some issues with calls getting stuck, but it just got repetitive by the time I finished the Career city unlocking storyline. Also had bugs of units being at cases, butt stuck not doing anything and couldn't be moved.

I wish they explained the different career options more, this one ended in some race against bombs and previously a Charlie Hebdo reference but all in different cities you "unlock", so I don't know if I will get the same stories in the other career mode and what is considered the "proper" / canon one.

Also, there were zero stakes to this last mission with the bombs, since you risk lives daily anyway and the day ends when you finish it all up anyway, so it drags on rather than anything being a race against time. I feel like it was similar to Orwell in the attempted payoff and change in gameplay at this stage, but it didn't have any stakes or meaningful change. The day also just ended, no notes about what had just happened or anything.


Also, I was just using mouse, but the screen gave very little information. You have named units you can kit out with different equiptment, but can't easily see what team has what number, or even change their icon colour. There was also nothing interesting about having the teams, or any emotional connection with the members even if they get injured it's more of an annoyance. It would be good to have some mini conversations with the teams, like the random calls you get in.

Because of this and the lack of need for spending on equipment, the money and incremental reward side of the game is really just missing, but it holds up with the interactivity and voice acting from the calls. I think it would get old very quickly without some changes, like adding some interaction with the team or allow for more role playing (possible in some calls) to members when giving your motivations e.g. go to call x because z

I feel like I must be missing something, or potentially missed the "proper" career mode because it's really only the voice acting and interactivity in them that holds up and that was over really quickly. If not, I think some reviewers are rating that over the other parts of the game that let it down.

Recently the game keeps crashing and not always allowing previous saves to open properly.

A great game to stream, a lot like JackBox but better for players and streamers to add their own spin on it and for it to appear properly in a game. So much fun to play! A few bugs being ironed out, but made by some great devs and tested by some top communities :D

A really great game you can have a lot of fun with. I did figure out the "twist" in the end credits pretty early on, but, it was pretty enjoyable. Love the art style and music. I like that you can play each case 3 ways so it's harder or you can decide if you think someone should have an easier time of it.

Forgot to say there are some bugs like not being able to scroll using the UI's scrollbar so it's actually essential to have a wheeled mouse, at leasrt when I played it.

Also love the puns and random references to stuff.
