The Drogheda feud, which claimed the lives of four people including teenager Keane Mulready-Woods is now considered over, we can reveal, as one criminal group has effectively relinquished control to the other crime gang.

The feud between two criminal factions in the town, the Price/Maguire Organised Crime Group which was led by Owen Maguire and now deceased Cornelius Price - who fled to the UK during the height of the feud - and the so-called anti-Maguire faction led by two brothers, erupted over the selling rights of drugs in the Co Louth town.

It escalated in 2018 when mob boss Owen Maguire was shot several times and left paralysed in a botched murder attempt by slain serial killer Robbie Lawlor and led to the murder of four people including 17-year-old Keane Mulready-Woods. The teen was lured to a house in Rathmullan, murdered by slain serial killer Robbie Lawlor and dismembered and his remains were dumped in different parts of Dublin in one of the most gruesome murders in Irish gangland history.

His torso remained missing until March 2022 when gardai received new information on its whereabouts. He was murdered and dismembered as part of the town’s bitter feud. Tragic Keane, whom gardai suspected was responsible for a number of petrol bomb attacks on houses around the town, was connected to associates of Dublin gang boss Mr Big as well as associates of paralysed Owen Maguire.
