Gameplay is really solid. Voice acting is a bit rough and framerate seemed to drop on level 2. "Bricking" seems to be a semi-common issue where I run out of ammo and don't have enough SYNC power, so I just kinda have to run around for a bit (especially on the boss where you can run out of SYNC targets and have to wait for the powerup). I wish there was a melee option as well so I could do something when empty. Music slaps too.

Overall, I enjoyed it despite it being kinda short.

This game is really fun which is more than I can say for most games coming out of college programs like DigiPen. It takes a few simple concepts and runs with them, while also maintaining a masterful sense of balance. Pieces feel unique and powerful yet appropriate for their original powerlevel. The FPS gameplay adds a new dimension to chess that factors in player skill and piece preference over classical chess interactions. My one minor gripe is a lack of single-player or a computer to go against. Really fun with friends, 9/10

This is absolutely one of, if not *the* best game I have ever played. The story, characters, and gameplay mechanics all hit really hard and resonated with me. This game made me, a relatively un-emotional person, cry *twice*. If that doesn't speak volumes, I don't know what will.

Go through this game as spoiler-free as you can. The only way you should learn about this games secrets and puzzles is by finding them yourself. The game will make sure you aren't left behind when you aren't satisfied with what you are given, so come back to it even if it seems that the end has already happened.

If you enjoyed Undertale or other similar games, this is absolutely another way to experience the same emotions again.

Great fast paced Mega Man action. Tight controls, addictive rouge-like gameplay, and decent difficulty curve. Only issue is the occasionally janky level layout due to RNG. Otherwise, fantastic game for MegaFans.
