This is the most amazing game I've ever played. I'm currently trying for the Any% WR so trust me, I know this game through and through. Despite what people tell you, the physics AREN'T RNG, they simply model it so accurately that it takes into account chaotic weather conditions, so moving an object that looks like it shouldn't interact with the ball actually changes its movement. It adds a layer of depth that isn't present in most other physics-based puzzlers.

Also, I get off on watching what happens to the cats.

If you are considering buying this game because you liked the original, don't.

While a bunch of great features have been added, most of them detract from the original core gameplay elements of building and defenfing your own forts.
The reinvented game is fun, but only if you can get past the countless bugs, such as being unable to connect to any servers (even after port forwarding and removing firewalls), horrible netcode (broken blocks reappear, placed blocks disappear, seconds of delay between clicking the mouse and firing bullets), and countless hackers. It may look good but the implementation is terrible. The jetpack soldier class renders most battlements practically useless, and the new maps remove the need for them as well.


Ignoring the bugs and the original game, it's alright, maybe 4.5/10.
The original was much better (and free).

This is the most amazing, immersive, and well-made game I have ever played. Unlike most other zombie games and movies, you can actually empathize with these characters. Although most of the events are set in stone, the choices you make DO affect the characters and will stay with you for the entire game. The story has been executed perfectly and the gameplay isn't bland at all, contrary to what some reviewers say. The characters are extremely well-developed and fit right in to the zombie apocalypse scenario.


For the best game that I have ever played, I can say that it is well worth the $25. You won't regret it.
