(I did not play much of the new Steam copy due to the bugs it had when I tried it, this review is based off experiences I have had with the english patched version of the original game. Also this is a LOONG review, sorry!)

Yume Nikki is a wonderfully immersive game that envelops you in the surreal dreams of the protagonist, Madotsuki.

If you're looking for an action packed, point A to B game this is not going to be the ideal game for you, as the most taxing things you have to do are collect things and navigate areas.

But if you are looking for a game that will surround you with its atmosphere, this game can deliver that so well.

The lack of dialouge, ethereal landscapes, serene soundtrack, and heavy focus on exploration all help engulf the player in the bizarre landscapes and creatures you will find in experiencing the game.

In my opinion, Yume Nikki is a game that very accurately simulates a world only those in deep slumber can understand. If I had to make a list of the games that best capture the world of dreams, this would be up there with LSD: Dream Emulator and the NiGHTS series.

I would even reccomend trying this on a late night, where everything is calm and quiet, much like the beautiful bliss of the game's setting.

If you would like to play a dreamlike exploration game that engages you in it's rich atmosphere and bizarre visuals, then you should really give this a shot. It is well worth your time.

(There is also an ending, believe it or not. It is very powerful, and is also worth your time to go for.)

Now one thing I should mention is that this version of the game (Steam Port) has/had bugs that may hinder your experience of the game. This may have changed since I last played the port(release day), but from what I remember there were sounds missing (even in the first room of the game!) and crashes.

If you play the Steam port of this game just be aware that things could be missing/incorrect.

If you are bothered by the inconsistencies like I was, fret not. Linked below is a mirror of the unofficial english patch that I played on, it is old though so it may not play nice with newer computers.

This is the last version before Playism's release of the game, so it is for the most part up to date. (barring a few non-immersion breaking glitches)

Brawlhalla is a smash esque sort of arena fighter that works because of the simple controls and items. Its a fun game but a lot of the issues lie after playing it for a while. Firstly the league of legends MOBA paymodel can work for a game like this, but after playing almost 5 hours nonstop i still haven't even gotten close to my first character that i can actually buy, the grind is awful and the free week champions don't really have variety imo, but the system that rewards you with more colors and stances for playing the characters is very nice. Secondly the hit detection really is werid and sometimes things will hit and sometimes they wont even though the visuals look the same, combine this with an online mode with poor matchmaking and a ranked system that allows you to hit and kill your duo partner means you wont really be having any real competetive fun with this game because it really is not fair in this regard. And thirdly the fact that you can 0-100 someone with the bombs and yet weapons sometimes dont even do half that damage is ridiculous. Many of these issues can be fixed because it is early access, so i wont go too hard on it. The artstyle is very pretty, the maps are pretty fairly made and at its core it is still a fun arena fighter but unless these issues are fixed you probably wont be having much fun actually playing it seriously.

TL;DR In it's current state BrawlHalla has a lot of problems that need to be fixed before it really becomes competetive and fun at the same time

Counter strike, a tried and true series spawning from a mod! Oh how far the mighty have fallen, my impressions when i made my first review were before most of the crates and monetization was added to this game. I won't lie most of the game is just like the old counter strikes terrorists vs counter terrorists and it is fun. But the monetizations for this game are through the roof with skins crates, songs you can play as the victory theme and hundred dollar knives. The economy for this game is very impressive but at the same time it really isnt very fitting for a game like this. It just doesn't seem fair to have to pay for the game and THEN the skins and things that come along with it too. The game adds nothing but microtransactions and better graphics to the formula of counter strike and really just seems like a lazy cashgrab at this point. With everything they want to charge you for and how low the price has gone they might as well just make it f2p like tf2. The ban system is also very flawed in that you can get banned for weeks by something automatic that can't be rolled back at all. I haven't had this personally happen to me but when i was playing with friends and people were trolling it is apparently "abusing the kick system" when there are people that only exist to troll in competetive and you are put on a competetive cooldown and punished for trying to stop these trolls. The community is pretty awful too, because of the already competetive enviornment mixed with skins that make it look like call of duty, it brings in a lot of people that just leave a lot to be desired.
But, barring all the negative things i've said if you can get a couple of people you know into a game or just a group of chill people on your team (very rare) you can have a very enjoyable time with this as it is still made up of the old counterstrike we grew to love.

TL;DR Counter Strike Global Offensive is a good game like the old counter strikes, but a bad sequel as it does nothing to innovate the counter strike series, has tons of microtransactions and an overall terrible community.

I reccomend this game to people who love fast paced platforming, this game is akin to rayman on the PS1 but much faster

its a good free game one of the first free games and if you get the achivement "hat trick" you get a tf2 ailen swarm pararsite hat

A wonderful take on the sandbox/survival genre, this game takes the concept of building and crafting that minecraft popularized and turns into a metroidvania; with a heavy focus on combat, bosses, and dungeon crawling.

I have had tons of fun with this game, and it continually gets updates to this day that add to the experience. I 100% recommend this if you like 2d bossbattles and cool weapons.

it's a multiplayer third person shooter that is built on the concept of you being toys so all the maps are huge. It has modes like capture the battery (flag), infection and free for all
its very unique and i reccomend this to anyone who likes shooters
