I would highly highly recommend this game!

Ever since the announcement for split-screen and having been longing to re-experience the days of couch gaming with friends IRL, I knew I had to buy this game. At first, it feels simple and a little annoying to control like the controls are over responsive? But, after you get into a groove, this game really starts to open up because you soon start to realize that traversing the racing circuits becomes really fun with the tight control scheme.

Hands down one of the best splitscreen MP games I have played this year!

Hopefully the devs add more tracks, classes and customization options as it would be fun as hell to play more of this game. What would be even crazier is if workshop support was added so you and your friends can splitscreen in custom maps!

It would be really cool if I could add my own music. I love the soundtrack that this game has bundled in, but I think it would also be fun to have the ability to create, add and listen to a custom playlists while racing.

Having to use the Rockstar Launcher on top of Steam is more of a redundant feature than installing condom vending machines in the Vatican.

Just saying...

The sound stage for this game has always been incredible. Glad they finally published it.

Great DLC, not expensive ($10 CAD, however I am aware most were paying either $10 USD or €10 EUR) and was certainly entertaining.

I just can't recommend it in it's current state.

Although all game mechanics work without a hitch, the game itself just runs terribly sluggish in these new maps. Otherwise, I would have called this release a slam dunk.

The Game and the DLC run considerably more stable than before with minor graphical glitches and screen tearing. Sadly, this still does not change my review because these are definitely problems that should have been addressed pre-launch. For anyone rocking a higher-end GPU, it's a great experience (That can only be enjoyed to it's fullest extent with DLSS/FSR3), but sadly that cannot be said with lower end GPUs which should be able to handle a game such as this.

Fix your game.

Gameplay is great, it's fast and furious with lots of fun.

However, this game falls squarely flat on it's face with how short the campaign is, along with so many missed plot opportunities, especially opportunities to expand the story around the backrooms set pieces. Really disappointed on that part. I wish I could review this as 'meh', but I'm putting a thumbs down for this one.

If you were ever into those Ghost Hunting shows in the early 2000s, then I guess this is for you and your friends with the same interest. Not bad value for a game that is $15 CAD.

It's really a shame what the series has become. Basically microtransaction/DLC hell with only one purpose is to scrape every cent off of you no matter how insignificant the skin/map/asset is.

I give this one a thumbs up, but avoid all the other games after this. It's actual theft.

This game not only costs less, but there's an SDK bundled with it, so it was a good deal when I bought it with the DLC for $10 CAD.
