500+ hrs for $5 game? Wow! What value. No. Vampire Survivors was a tremendous waste of my life because it was engineered to be a dopamine farm. Little to no strategy required. At first it was really cool. How far can you go? Further and further. Kill the grim reaper guy at the end, awesome! Now what? More more more! Unlock everything! Unlock! Unlock! Beat every stage! But honestly, in order to complete any/most stages it's the same two boring weapons. This game is so boring now it literally puts me to sleep. No joke! I have used this as a sleep aid dozens of times. If I have a hard time falling asleep, I just boot this game up, play for 5-10 minutes, get the items I need, and I just get super drowsy and passout with my steam deck.

The game play itself is great, but the lack of dedicated servers and cross-platform play is a buzzkill. There's no excuse for P2P co-op....

Performance is pretty abysmal even considering my specs and the inclusion of DLSS.

This is only a review for the multiplayer... not for the campaign.

The mechanics and feel of the game are solid overall. There is a great MP game here, but there's hardly any content.

Halo MP CONS:

1. The battle pass is a pathetic cash grab. For example, you need to spend actual money to unlock colors... COLORS! I'm almost 100% positive that we didn't need to pay to unlock basic stuff in previous halo games. So $10 for a battle pass to unlock cosmetics that came with the previous games MP. Unlike the Call of Duty franchise, Halo's battle pass doesn't reward players additional credits to apply to the next seasons' battle passes.

2. Even if you paid full price for the campaign, you don't get any MP cosmetic bonuses.

3. Because the solo campaign isn't separate from multiplayer, it shares the user ratings on steam which isn't very fair to the campaign. Also, the graphics settings are shared as well...

4. Six regular-sized maps. Nothing added since November.

5. Highest ranked players queuing into games with "diamond" level and below.

6. The game runs like ass. No DLSS or AMD equivalent. Needs a performance patch. No reason why game should require everything being cranked down to low on 1440p to get above 200fps with a 3090 and 3800X.

I haven't clocked in many hours of the game just yet, but it's really fun so far. Inputs are extremely responsive. I was a bit of a dingus and didn't realize that I had to equip upgrades by moving their corresponding Tetris-like shapes into the right side of the upgrade menu. I had struggled a bit on normal without using any upgrades. Once I adjusted to the game's difficult learning curve and actually equipped the upgrades, everything started clicking. I hope they come out with a sequel that has co-op!

Because you can't specify which RT features you want to enable, RT has a disappointingly high impact on performance. DLSS doesn't seem to help much at all with this either. Other than that, the frame rate is rock solid.

no fov slider, mouse movement feels terrible, poor performance on modern hardware, and unskippable game intro.

Being 100% being bound to physics is limiting and makes the overall gameplay frustrating during the "puzzles." It would be too much to ask the devs from removing random plank puzzles. They behave like ♥♥♥♥.

This game as hard as hell, but you can tell how good it is by my perseverance through 75+ hours to get all achievements. 10/10 after the balancing patch.

I loved RE2 remake. 100% achievements, and every bonus achievement unlocked... That said, I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate re3. The more I play it, the more I hate it. This isn't even a game? This is a cinematic experience. Cutscene Cutscene Cutscene Cutscene! I don't normally get buyers remorse, but I haven't hated a video game purchase since Metal Gear Solid 4. Cutscene Cutscene Cutscene Cutscene. Even the Audio design is bad. How... the ♥♥♥♥...?!?! All the work was done in RE2. How can pistols and ARs sound like spitting peas out of a straw?

Edit: Game has grown on me since then. Everything I said before still stands, but it's ultimately more of what I want from the franchise. I don't want them to ever return to tone in RE5 and RE6. I now look at RE3 as a standalone DLC to the infinitely superior RE2.
