i usually love these games and ave lot of them in my library but this game currently is i a very bad state. Most mechanics are tedious af and there is no fun wy to play around them or to just improve them decently, they hinder ur progress, slow you artificially and create in general a very frustrating experience. The game has potential but right now is not worth.

Took chaos demons, renamed leader as Giorgias Melonis the Great, spawned legions of fascist demons, rebuilt Italy with even less chaos that in our timeline, felt good, 10/10

At the moment of writing this review I have almost 200hours of service for SuperEarth.
This game taught me a lot of things about freedom.
Sometimes freedom is knowing you did your best and completed the tasks you were assigned even if you could not extract and go back home. Your home is now a 5x5m room in a prison in a remote region of southern Italy. You were unjustly incarcerated. You sip coffee thinking about the time lost.
Often freedom is realizing you had all the information at hand to know what was the best decision to make in your early years of life, but understanding you still failed because you needed to learn the hard way. It's not a problem, you will get re-deployed, Powers bigger than yourself have still faith in you.
Freedom is the concept in your (super)heart that makes you see that even if you loved that nice girl from the Rome's helldivers training division, she was not healing you, you were healing her while she bile spit on your soul. Let her go as we let go hellbombs on our enemies, without remorse, without contempt.
Freedom is an hug of a fellow brother that tells you you are going to make it even when you feel the cold embrace of the loneliness on the battlefield after you fought for so long for your life than now you don't even know if you are alive anymore.
Freedom is knowing that you violated some Super Earth laws prioritizing helping stray dogs and cats over your fellow helldivers, but no helldiver reported you to the democratic prosecutor because we all knew you needed that peace just to feel someone was actually grateful for what you did for once in your life.
Freedom is listening again to the division Head Chaplain Savianus the First, talking about the heretics you once worked for before knowing the true ways of democracy, and feeling at peace. Those lost people are no more part of your life, they must be crushed as we crushed the will of the enemies on Malevelon Creek.
Freedom is being called Rancore, but having no more of it.

Very beautiful game, gives fantastic vibes, it' just a joy to pass time in it and you feel it loves you back. If it was a person it would have been an Aku.

Downloaded the game to play on geforce now, controllers are not supported (even if developer says they are), literally their input is not being recognized. I will wait some months when finally they patch to a point in which this become a complete game and not an alpha
