Fun game is fun.

A good game for dads. It has the #1 most important feature for dads. Paysable cutscenes. My kid can interrupt me, or my wife or my dog or normal human life stuff. It's fantastic.

As for the rest, here is my take. It's for millennial that adored the early games but now have real life and want to scratch the itch. Don't go in lamenting what the game isnt. Just play it for what it is and chill out.

Potential. Big time.

Played about a half hour with the wife. Play is somewhat like a tech demo but an impressive one. The concept is proven, and hopefully the execution is thorough and positive. Very optimistic at this point.

PC version was buggy enough that I could not get through opening cut scene. Refunded & purchased on XBOX360 for more than what I'd originally paid for PC version. The 360 doesn't run the game very well compared to what I saw on the PC, but I can actually play it without crashing. The game itself is pretty good.

Absolutely does not work on Windows 8. Complete waste of money.

EDIT: Not sure when exactly but as of 18 Jan 2015 it now works on Windows 8. That means the review gets changed to something positive. Excellent game while we wait for GTA V!
