Played this game for hundreds of hours on browser, paid for it and promptly forgot about it for 5 years. Coming back to it now to find a small community still playing has been very nice to see. Toxicity is still rampant but it's overall still a fun experience and now I can't stop playing again. 10/10 worth selling my soul to

stardew valley is a game i can’t recommend enough.
its definitely a little too slow moving in the beginning and it can prove to rely a little too much on grinding for what i was expecting, but once you get past the first month, id say, and start to get along with the townspeople, you are definitely in for a treat.
its a game brimming with life, and you can see that every detail has had thought and love and care poured into it. i love it so much that when the multiplayer update arrived, i couldn’t help but buy it for my partner & my best friends to play too.
it is probably not a game for everyone; but i have never been partial to farming games at all and this has become one of my favourite games of all time. but if you give this a shot, it will be worth your while.

PSA, i did spend roughly 40 hours playing this in four days with minimal interaction with the outside world. needless to say, it is incredibly addictive once you get into it.

honestly this game can be fun when you’re up against people who aren’t *always* passive and who aren’t always spamming, ranked is a cesspool though and if you value yourself in any way i would recommend not trying that out.
but with friends and sometimes in casual it’s a fun game so give it a go i guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ you might get some hours of enjoyment out of it
