Into the Breach is one of my favorite games of all time, and I think it represents the high-water mark for turn based strategy. Since it came out in 2018, no other game has really come close to scratching that strategy itch that it so perfectly tattooed in my brain.

That is, until I played Tactical Breach Wizards. This game is the second coming, and I could not be more onboard. I could wax poetic on about how amazing the characters are, how laugh-out-loud funny the writing is, how perfectly the game ups the ante in story and challenge and complexity. But what it all comes down to is this: the gameplay is incredible. Its that same thrill, that same cascading dopamine rush of carving out the absolute perfect turn in the chaos of battle during the moment it mattered most. I haven't felt that rush since playing into the Breach. Frankly, I never thought I would again. But I'm so happy I got to experience it, and my time with this game was an absolute joy.

Tactical Breach Wizards is simply perfect. 11/10 and my GOTY.

I spent so much time playing No Mercy when I was younger. Hell, I even bought and N64 a few years back just to start up a CAW league with some friends. I have no interest in wrestling or wrestling video games, but playing No Mercy has always been one of my most cherished gaming experiences. Wrestling Empire picks up where No Mercy left off, and does it with flying colors. The fluid controls, the absurdity and twists and turns of the story mode, and the jazz-like improvisational jank of the gameplay create something greater than the sum of its parts. It terms of gameplay and sheer fun, this blows No Mercy out of the water, and Im sure in time as this game becomes bigger and more fleshed out, it will be the complete package and the greatest wrestling game ever made.

I have only one request: ADD POISON MIST!!!

If you have even the slightest interest in Kenshi, I highly recommend you get it. My interest was piqued after watching a certain popular Youtuber, but I never expected to fall head over heels for this game. This is without a doubt the most unique and engrossing RPG I've ever played. There's simply nothing like Kenshi, it is an absolute delight to experience. 150 hours in and it has cemented its place in my Top 5 favorite games of all time. And I cant wait to play more.

Prey is one of the few games that I think everyone should play. Every core element of this game (story, gameplay, setting, graphics, sound, characters) is perfect or damn near close. Prey is a absolute joy to play, it's setting a marvel to behold, and its story flawlessly executed.

I came into this game with zero expectations, and came out with a game that earned a spot of my all time top 10.
