I would have still recommended this game in Early Access, and I avoid EA games like the plague. It's hard to quantify how good Satisfactory is if you like factory games. Just get it and vibe ✌

It's a pleasant fishing game. There are books to read, plenty of fish to catch, new boat parts to find, and the occasional treasure chest! Nothing out of the ordinary.

What? What do you mean? No, that's just a simple fish, don't worry about it. Just let me have it. Hand it over and I'll sell it. Give me the fish. Please give me the fish. GIVE ME THE FISH.

If you're looking for a fun, chill, relaxing game. This is it. Not much else to say, this game is a fun little re-forestation puzzle game where a pretty tight rule set leads to some interesting solving.

The music is guaranteed to create chill vibes. 5/7, would completely restore the planet again.

I'm only 9 hours in, and I have to say I'm pretty impressed with God of War. Many people have discussed the game's design, art, mechanics, etc for years now, and that's all here in the PC version.

This is no "quick hackjob PC port", this is a full on proper PC game. It launches straight from Steam (no "sony launcher" or any crap like that), it works perfectly with Borderless Windowed, and most importantly: It works PERFECTLY on the Steam Deck. I was a little worried since it's such a visually spectacular game I'd have to suffer 25fps or so, but honestly, it works flawlessly on the Deck. Boots up pretty quickly, doesn't really have any issues.

If I'm being honest, the only reason I pulled the trigger and bought this game is because it has a solid green checkmark on the Steam Deck. Hats off to such a tip top PC implementation of a great game.

Let me clear the air: Mass Effect is a great game, with a great story. The Legendary Edition bundles all 3 in one executable and it's pretty convenient, and the actual game is great. It runs extremely smoothly, even on the Steam Deck* (WHEN IT WORKS, see note below).

EA is the reason I can't recommend this. The new EA Launcher (2022) is absolute garbage. It prevents Deck-only users from *even playing* this game. EA Play simply doesn't behave on Deck, you must first boot on PC, wait for syncing, then launch and cross your fingers on the Deck. Usually it will take 2-3 attempts before it launches correctly.

But even on a PC-only experience, completely following "normal use", it might sometimes just nuke your save from orbit. Games shouldn't require jumping through so many hoops to play. I wouldn't mind the whole "extra launcher within a launcher" if it worked, but EA has proven time and time again they simply cannot produce a launcher that works.

If you're fine with manually backing up saves, jumping through hoops, trying to trick EA's launcher into letting you play the game you already own, then go for it. That's what I'm doing. But if you want your game to launch every time you ask it to, then I can't recommend this. Maybe if they strip out their launcher, or next year when they build yet another one that might work, then I could recommend purchasing this in good conscience.

Because I keep playing it (my manual cloud backup scripts are holding strong) Steam keeps asking me if I want to revise my recommendation. Until EA's launcher is removed completely, my recommendation will remain a "No". Because for me to recommend a game, it has to work with minimal effort, when you click "Launch Game", it should launch the game. If EA's servers go down or your network is the slightest bit wonky, you cannot play this game or you might lose 2-3 hours of gameplay. Their launcher is not built well and doesn't have robust offline support.

[December 2022 update]: The EA Launcher deleted my Mass Effect 1 game saves. Fortunately I have a manual backup so my 20-30+ hours didn't get nuked, but just be aware, if you're buying this game, you shouldn't rely on EA's launcher to keep your game saves.

What can I say, this game is phenomenal. I am not very good but I've recently gotten back into it and it's just pure enjoyment to play, even when losing ranked matches and getting dunked on.

I strongly recommend playing with an Xbox Elite controller or a Steam Controller if you can, so you can get the two bonus buttons underneath. I mapped them to "Camera Toggle" and "Handbrake" so it's instantly-accessible and doesn't interrupt my jump/boost finger.

This game is so good I played 100 hours of it on Steam then bought it on Switch too.

I'm about 50 hours in so far on the Switch. What can I say, this game hits all my buttons. Easily one of the most relaxing games I've ever played in my life.
