Absolutely loved it from beginning to end, every choice felt like it mattered and it's amazing how your choices from one game can affect the next two.
ME1 - Great game, Mako missions bit meh but honestly a great introduction into the Mass Effect series, heat sink was dumb but manageable. Paragon / Renegade were great ideas and really fleshed out Shepard as a character and the route you wanted to take.

ME2 - Improved on the first, Mako missions were replaced with more fast paced vehicle missions and heat sink for weapons was replaced with just regular ammo. They added more romances so you can finally romance best girl (Tali). Paragon and Renegade choices began to be more useful than just a bit of different dialogue.

ME3 - My personal favourite, the DLCs were amazing (leviathan was a bit meh) but all of them were enjoyable and interesting. Loved the Citadel DLC, best one by far, more in depth dialogue and the characters got even funnier with a hint of self awareness. Most emotional game as well, ending felt satisfying (the one I got anyway) and by this point I was so hooked to the series that I got massively invested into characters.

Overall this is one of the few game series I'd be happy to buy at full price, the fact you can get it massively discounted during a steam sale is absolutely amazing. You won't find a better game with value for money, 100% worth it. Highly recommend importing saves if you can, far better world building and character development.
