This game has literally changed my entire life in a hilarious domino effect involving its old forums. We simply would NOT be the same people we are today if not for this game. We wouldn't know the people I do if not for this game. We wouldn't know who we *are* if not for this game. It helps it is a great game that, even as that old forum has fallen, we have continued to play it, always in the background, like a Zen Garden we have tended to and cared for.

And now it's on Steam, without you having to wrestle Google Chrome at every turn. With music by C418, no less, and with accessibility functions that'll be backported to the Browser version. (Future update: They have been!) With a cloud save that'll last me forever, probably, and even a Steam Workshop making modding this game more accessible than ever before (Any other old vets remember when you had to use Tampermonkey?) and open up brand new opportunities for mods to do truly incredible things.

Whether you're a seasoned veteran of the Idle Game genre that just never quite got to sit down and play the original, a morbidly curious outsider looking in on the start of a rather obscure game genre in awe, or you just found out about this game for a third reason--please play this game. Even if you can't afford it on Steam, the browser version's always free, and still getting updates; you've got no excuse not to at least try it before buying this to directly support the devs that way.
