Some info and my thoughts about the game.

Basically you have an headquarter like in xcom, where you build your buildings, get your units, buff yourself, buff your units and so on. Everything cost resources of course.

From your headquarter/base/town you decide what to bring into the next mission, that means which units, artifacts, two choices for your hero's stats and abilitys, and then you see three challenges for the mission. They can be like, don't use this unit in the whole mission or don't pick this power when leveling, therefore a ¨challenge¨ if you complete one, two or all three you get a reward specific for each challenge.

When you have taken a mission, theres a food system, it means that every round takes 1 food, therefore making your turns and what you do very strategic. What i did was scout out the map and planning a route i wanna take and monsters i wanna beat first and so on, then reloading (save scum kinda idk) to the start of the mission and then do the route i had planned. Making sure that i wouldn't have enough food (you can find food throughout the mission)

So before heading into combat, theres taverns (idk if they are called taverns ingame) that has three units in them that costs resources that you get throughout the mission, having two of the same unit makes you able to merge them, into a stronger version of the unit. Theres also three different options for ending and starting the next round, you have like, get 2 extra moves next round, get two extra resources next round or get this buff next round. So depending on what you wanna do the next round/turn you have three options, if its a turn where you pick up stuff only, you might not want the buff, but if you wanna fight the next turn you might want to.

So in combat your units have shields and so do your enemy. The shields are a way to make it more strategic in my opinion because it gives you a chance to get out of combat without having to refill your units like in HOMM, because how it works is that if you only get damaged your shield number your unit is totally fine, its when your units shield gets destroyed and their health gets hit, which meaning after battle you have to do turns/rounds to refill their health, if i recall correctly tho the shield gets refill insta after battle. The worst scenerio is when your units gets killed, because then you lose the unit of course, and that means that the high cost of resources you used to buy them now are lost, so you really don't wanna lose a unit, it makes the mission harder because you are weaker and have lost the resources you used on that unit. Also why i said i feel it makes combat more strategic because you gonna do everything in your power to make sure that you get the best result.

Also the mana system, i haven't sat down and learn very much about it, but so far it seems that it refills in turns, could be wrong. But also your units have unique powers, but those powers cost from your mana, but could turn the tides in your favour.

So i bought the game because i really like HOMM, and they do have some similars aspects, but i could also see that a HOMM player would not like the game, but i could also see if they wanted something similar thats a breath of fresh air that they would enjoy it. But again its not HOMM, and thats a good thing, they have decided to make a unique take on the genre and it works very well.

Did you say 7,99£ for a RPG, Open World game? That can't be true..

But it is, if you can overcome the old school graphics (Alof of people are only hungry for graphics, a real shame)
Then you have found a REAL gem!

You can choose from 4 classes:
Warrior, Rogue, Cleric and Mage
You can choose from 4 difficulties:
Casual, Normal, Hard and Iron-man

This game Offers a HUGE openworld where you can travel and become a knight in shinyarmour or a Adventurer.
This game Offer also alot of cities, villages, castles, quests, monsters, people and LOOT FOR DAYS.

And yes the combat might not look fantastic and alittle bit chaotic at times. But this games is plain amazing. It might be the best grindy game that i have played.
Its not everyday you find a properly overall 100 hour game for under 10 bucks

There have been some people complaining about the difficulty, and yes it might be hard a first, but when you find out that you are not some Mighty Knight at start and no you can defeat a hole dungeon by yourself at first. THATs why you grind. And this game offers a fun kinda grind. Atleast i'm not bored of it yet.

Buy the game if its not to your liking then refund it, its as simpel as that. But i hope you find out that this game really is a gem.

So far i'm extremely into the game. Its a fun and challenging game. The combat system reminds of divinity original sin and anything above that no. But it has it own kinda feel, its a very basic idea of an rpg but somehow it also strikes me fun and addicting. And for 15$ its almost a steal.

AND

If a Dev reads this, i love the idea of the jokes about games and movies in the game. And i kinda dig it because of the main character.

Really really a great game, its kinda hard even on normal (Doesn't bother me) Its makes it a bit more spicey. I'm restarting the missions alot for making the best possible outcome since you want to keep as many units and saving some resources for other things for next missions. I love the stronghold/base idea and it works very well, but having to keep in mind what buildings are best for future missions too.

I can see myself playing it for a while, since it makes me think, abit angry sometimes and challenging.

The Al are weird, sometimes it very smart and destroys you're future moves, and sometimes it does what you want it too. But there is also sometimes it makes weirdass moves making it sometimes abit to easy.

I hope more people will buy the game since its very good, and making it possible for the devs to makes some great updates and later on making some more awesome games.

For me, this game feels alot like a mix of Underrail and Wasteland 2 just in space. I have waited long 4 a new game that should differently give 50+ hours of gameplay at some point. And another thing, you can't not love the intro music.

Buy the game its already 4 me the full price worth.

I almost can't wait for what the game has to offer in the future

First i want to say that this game is a really good Dungeon crawler game. It has alot of things that i really like. But one thing that i feel is missing is the option to look at a map. Since many areas are so so big, then there are alot of hallways that look almost the same, many places look the same too. And i feel like when playing i'm going in circles many times, or are total lost. And the worst thing is that if you can't find you're way then you run into the problem with food, the food system is alright but when you are lost and can't find the way it becomes a bigger problem.

If you like a good dungeon crawler game, buy the game. But keep in mind you are proplerly gonna waste alot of hours finding you're way.

Kinda feels abit like a fast pased/no turnbased Heartstone game. Its should probaly not be 20 euro game, but then again it is a game you can keep playing on and off for a long time, just like heartstone. As for me a good game is a game you injoy and can atleast play for 50+ hours. And you should easy be able to play this for 50+ hours, maybe not in a row but over time.

I did not find any bugs or mistakes in the game, so thumps up for that to.

Buy it, play it and make it as a champion! Have fun and injoy a 6/10 star game.

Its very injoyable to play, already put in 20+ hours in it, and still at chapter 1 because there some many options to do. And i love the hunger and thirst option. Because in most rpgs there always the cooking options. But since almost very food gives not much hp, its better to just drink potions. But now there actually a reason for the cooking option.
The combat have also some combos where you can mix up som different types off combats warrior/mage -> warrior/tame tank monster -> Archer/mage -> Archer/tame monster to take damage for you. -> Warrior/mage and so on. There also alot off different kind og skills that you can use with Archer/warrior/mage types. Break armor, Cause Bleed, Blind opponent, Steal hp when enemy heals and so on. You can combo many different types of tactics.

Alchemist: There very many types of potions you can make. -> Heal you're self and allies -> Mana&hp -> Posion and heal. Its all up to you'reself what you want to do because you can make you're own recipies. The same with cooking you can make you're own recipies.

Hunter/Taming: I have not tryed every monster, but i think you can tame everything as long its a animal.

Mining/smelting gives you the option to make you're own armor/weapons(As long you you also learn to make it)/Tools and materials for you're house/ and its a great way to make money.

Farming is the option for getting ¨free¨ food and materials for cooking and Alchemist.

The only things that should be fixed is either to make the monsters to respawn after some time/days or to make them give more xp. Since on master its very hard to deal with monsters, and the storyline sometimes have you to deal with more than 1-2 monsters and quests are the only thing that gives alot xp and you have to have alot of xp to level up. So sometimes you actually gets stuck without being able to moving on because you can't level up, because monsters gives very little xp.
