I originally played this game when it first came out on pico-8 and it's made a great transition onto Steam! It is a very cute little haiku-making game with very cute pixel graphics and a wonderful soundtrack. I especially love that the background image and music change to different seasons each time you play!
The only difficulty I have had is I didn't initially realise how to get back to the 'top menu' once I'd finished a haiku - you have to scroll up! But that is likely more my own idiocy rather than the game, lol.
Overall a very cute and fun little game with great graphics and music! Highly recommend :)

I have just finished the game and am thoroughly impressed for such a rich, expansive world and game to come out of a small indie studio. Thank you for sharing your work as I have thoroughly enjoyed every hour I've played.

So I just finished my first playthrough of this yesterday after getting completely absorbed in it.
The story line did go a bit off-kilter by about episode 4 (but not in a bad way - just in a "oh I really wasn't quite expecting this" kinda way).
I got probably one of the worst possible endings and screwed up a lot of things along the way, but I'm already thinking about how I'd go about things differently next time, the different routes I'd take at crucial points etc. I'd absolutely love to see more episodic games like this from this game dev company as it's truly amazing! I highly recommend it to all - but especially if you're also a big fan of choices-driven games (e.g. Life is Strange, any of the Telltale Games episodic games).

Early Access Review
Cook Serve Delicious 3 truly is the amalgamation of enjoyment and stress at the same time. Think things were fast paced in CSD and CSD2? Think again.
I don't know why I enjoy stressing myself out so much but I do and I will continue to do so, because CSD3 is just as wonderful as its predecessors.
I'm excited to see what else Early Access development brings and will continue to make myself extremely hungry with every day I play it. 10/10 would rage-restart levels again and again and again.

If I can win a game with a diplomatic victory whilst having military strength of 830 versus Montezuma with 0 trying to wage war on me, you can get through this next game.

(but for real it's great. if you've enjoyed past civ games, this is fab too! if you're completely new to civ - try it! but don't blame me if you suddenly find yourself midway through a game and suddenly it's 3am and you don't know how you got to this point. it happens to the best of us)

I have loved LEGO games for years and years - right back from the beginning with the original lego star wars on PS2. I have some I favour over others, but generally enjoy most of them.
LEGO DC Super Villains is no exception! The story is unique and really involves you the player with your own customisable main character. The sheer volume of customisation options (even right from the start) is way more than I had ever expected, and it's exciting seeing your character develop over the course of the game.
There's plenty of extras to unlock throughout the hub world, as there are in many of the more recent LEGO videogames.
My only qualm is that the main storyline isn't as long as I'd like (15 levels, 5 short bonus levels) but that's more because I was enjoying it so much!
For anyone who's a big fan of LEGO games or DC characters, I highly recommend this game!

one of the best RPGs I've ever played. The combat system is wonderful for awful fighters like me - the quick pause to organise your moves is so helpful! However I really do suck at combat and cannot get past one of the boss fights fairly near the end and it's DRIVING ME INSANE. overall 10/10 cannot wait for Inquisition ;-;
