First of all, I used to play vermintide 2 (VT2), another fatshark game that plays similar to this, so my views are heavily influenced by it.

Fun game if you're coming from vermintide 2. I do have to admit that even though I've put 100hs on this I still can't get used to the addition of guns. Toughness seems to be a mechanic that was made just to make it less annoying when dealing with enemy fire and I still don't think it was implemented correctly. Guns also make speedrunning a pain in the ass in open maps. IMO it's the Achilles heel of this game.
Aside form that the gameplay is quite nice, I love the skill tree and I think it`s miles better than VT2. Mixing and matching weapons is cool and adds another layer to builds but it can have the opposite effect if you're ocd.

When it comes to world building this game is a failure IMO. I don't like the cast, I think the banter between characters suck compared to VT2. Since you build your character and chose a VA you don`t really care about the characters. The maps look the same, there`s little variety in them. The color palette also sucks, if you squint your eyes you'll see what every map looks like, save for some odd areas, like the forge.

Warning: the game is a broken mess, apparently a recent update introduced a LOT of stuttering. I've tried everything, changing settings, installing specialk's mod, downloading the 4k res texture packs and it still stutters. Please avoid the steam version, there area couple of videos on yt showing that Origin's version is much better, buy that one instead.

Simple yet entertaining. If you like old scholl castlevania you will love this.

Deus ex brings a mix of action, stealth and rpg elements in a harmonious way. You decide which way you wanna play and both work fine. The atmosphere is simply jawbreaking, and the music (amazing btw) just helps to furhter immerse the player in the deus ex universe.

A retro game that plays just like metroid, It shares the same gameplay basics, as in explore+find weapons. It's visually stunning, with excellent 2d sprites and artwork. The music is great with 3 options of soundtrack, that range from a nes feeling to a heavily remastered versions. Gameplay wise, I don't like the upgrade system, where you need to collect "golden pyramids" that drop from fallen enemies. Later on the game gets a little more frantic, and getting hit makes you lose some precious firepower.

Fun rhythm based game, easier than the first and very addicting.

This game is just AMAZING.
Basically all you do is "flip" (you fall up or down), "brute" yet refreshing gameplay. You will die A LOT!
Graphics are very retro, and so is the music (which is incredibly awesome btw).
Everything blends so well that you end up getting addicted to it.

One of the best games Ive bought in steam.

Pretty good, requires a lot o reflexes and planning. This game was a pleasant surprise
