912hrs at the time of writing this review. And that is not counting all my offline and modded playthroughs. And you know what? As of right now, I'm not recommending it.

I'm happy to change my review in the future. However over the last decade this game has changed in ways that take me out of what I used to enjoy so much. Myself and many others are only sticking around because of the amazing modding community.

The developers do not listen to feedback, and blame their customers for mistakes they themselves made. It is no longer the sandbox game I fell in love with. We're only now being listened to because of the steam reviews steadily falling after the poor reception of the 2.0 update.

I'm going to be going back to Rebirth or Undead Legacy until some significant changes are made to the base game. Again, I'm happy to change this review on the future of The Fun Pimps actually learn from the way they have mismanaged the game's develop and quite frankly disrespectful way they communicate with their customers.

Great game. I played it a lot. Enjoyed it right up until it was abandoned to start "Infinimine 2" which is apparently a Roblox port. Very disappointed this game will never be finished.

Great game, lots of fun. About 20hrs of active play to beat. Beat at 18 talents, so does not require min maxing.

It released in a final state, but I look forward to seeing any potential updates or DLC in the future. This game plays like abdication 1 of Realm Grinder. If more content, researches etc were added to increase replayability I would recommend it even more highly.

So umm, I guess after 5k hours I can leave a review. This is one of my top 3 idle games next to Realm Grinder, and Grim Clicker.

It's not really an idle game at first, but that's ok I'm my opinion. I usually have YouTube on my right monitor, Grim Clicker on my center, and this on my left.

I work incredibly long hours, and it is really nice on my day off just to have games that require minimum input to progress while watching videos at the same time.

As I get older I find myself watching let's plays more than playing the games myself, but this one has just the perfect blend of idle and active play for me.

EDIT: Cloud save bugged after 7000 hours almost, and my local save said corrupted. I was able to pull one that loaded that was no where near where I a currently am. It was a good run, but I think thats it for me.

Personally, I loved this game. I'm a huge fan of the Rogue lite genre and this definitely scratched the itch.

First off, my recorded play time is not accurate, I've played far more offline than what is listed.

One thing a lot of people don't talk about is the boon system. Much like in Risk of Rain 2, the boons stack in such a way that if you survive long enough you can become increasingly powerful.

When you defeat bosses you get to select from a could potential randomly generated boons. It can be anything from attack 7% faster, or gain 5% life steal on hit. I've also seen some really neat ones that cause interesting effects like explosions when you trigger than effects. All of that to say, those boons might start off feeling small, but they're permanent and stack with themselves as long as your character doesn't die.

It's completely possibly to keep one character alive for 100 dungeon runs and create a god like being if that's something you're in to. It was a great experience for me and I highly recommend giving it a try.

I recommend this game, but with a caveat. I bought the game after playing the demo, but I beat it in my first try after an hour and a half. I ended up refunding it.

Fun game, but my general rule of cost vs value is I should get one hour of game play per dollar spent. I think that's pretty reasonable. It could be argued that I could replay the game, but in the game current state that wouldn't feel very rewarding. I thought this would be something similar to Slay the Spire in terms of end game difficult, but its just not there for me at this time.

I will keep an eye out an likely purchase again when more content is added or the price is reduced.

I have my fair share of complaints, but the fps is not one of them. I don't understand why I constantly see people saying they get five fps. I have a decent computer, not a great one, but a decent one. I still get a stable 30+ frames. I am a computer tech where I work, I would guess its far more likely many players simply have too many background task running and bogging their systems down.

I've never really seen the problem with the way this game implements its monetary system. I remember the days when I would drop 40-60$ on a console game. you can "Buy" this game for forty dollars by getting the infinite pack. If you don't have the money then you can save up bling (which is actually a lot more plentiful then people make it sound) to buy a bling mine and start getting it passively.

Also, for all the people complaining about finding crafting mats. Once you get into the late game there are passive enchantments on almost every item to give you an increased rate of rare item drops. I have a huge stockpile of epic crafting material for the next unique creature/trap that gets released.

The real fun lies in the castle development. I have over 250 hours logged just since it came out on steam. I log on almost daily to see all the people my castle has destroyed. People constantly scream "pay to win" after running mine, even though the vast majority of my dungeon I grinded for like most other people.

To close, for me the real gem in this game is sticking it out to the late game when all your hours lead to you having an amazingly over powered dungeon.

I've been in on this game for a long time now. Though my official steam number is roughly 160hrs, I have played several hundred in offline mode. This quickly became one of my favorite games, I've bought it for friends just so they could experience it too.

If you like open ended extremely customizable worlds I would recomend this game. No two playthroughs are ever the same, and there are many different play styles.

I would give it a 9/10, which I'll change to a 10/10 when the game is complete.

I would also praise the Dev team who has relatively frequent patches, and keep players up to date.
