Feels good so far, enjoying the QOL that is included, however some changes feel weird. Can't walk around with half an inventory tab open, it feels like there are less hotkeys to open menus but I think its the way the pet inventory works now that makes it feel that way to me. Not being able to quick move stuff to the pet inventory is annoying, as well as not being able to drop potions onto my pet to heal it. I like the way the stats work, however it could very easily be made into a half tab separate from the inventory if it is to shift back to the way it used to work in the future. I also feel like I'm getting double audio bugs happening, usually clicking between menus. Not being able to choose between toggle and hold to run is also something I would enjoy seeing changed. Also, items being drag and drop is a weird change and having the choice to toggle drag/drop vs clicking in and out would be very nice. There is definitely room for improvement in terms of quality of life and game feel, however the visuals are great, the game feels good, still clunky but hey, its FATE. Love the remaster, looking forward to improvements and additional development!
EDIT: I realize now that I can right click on items to have my pet pick it up, however they do have to travel to it, and if I can't open my pet's inventory directly like I can with my own, I like to inspect the item first, and from there it would be nice to have a quick move to the pet inventory without having to click the pet icon to the left of stats. Also, spells, if Identify scroll is my selected spell, you used to be able to identify things within the inventory because it wouldn't pause the game with the half-screen, now you have to exit the inventory to spell-identify, being able to do it within the inventory would be nice.
E2: Right clicking a potion to use it while having the identify spell on brings up the inventory while using it
