For an anime shooter it's pretty decent, though the game does feel rough around the edges. Hopefully it becomes more polished with updates.

I was expecting good things about the sequel, and Croteam did not disappoint! While I've yet to actually finish the game, I can already say that this game is amazing, the move to Unreal Engine really helped flesh out the graphical fidelity, and the puzzles have become even more interesting, as expected. I did not want to write this review before finishing the game, but welp, The Steam Awards are here and as usual they require a review to be put up. I will update the review once I finish the game and will share more thoughts regarding the nice and not so nice things about the game.

TL;DR: I didn't finish the game, but I recommend it, especially if you liked the original!

The first Persona game I've played, and oh boy what a pleasant experience it has been. Even though it was my first time playing any game from Atlus and I had to familiarize myself with the mechanics of battles, shadows, personas, fusing, and all that, I found myself in love with SMT/Persona in general, so I went on to play other games from the series as well. Back when I first played through this game on PS4 in 2021, I wished it to be available to more people, and here it is finally on Steam.
What can I say about the game itself? Well, it's a pretty story driven experience as is with any Persona games, you fight things called shadows in order to progress through dungeons that are called Palaces, all in order to change one's corrupt "heart" for the better. I will not get into story details here, but it's pretty good given the main characters are a bunch of teenagers doing something normally impossible. The music is exceptionally good, sasuga Meguro-san. The graphical style of this game is also insane and I'm sure inspired many other developers to do something alike. Overall, this is just one of the best JRPGs out there, and with PC release it has opened to modding like never before, making it even better in terms of replayability.

Writing just because of Steam Awards, haven't even finished this game yet (yes, I'm lazy). Despite its awful launch and overall game drawbacks it's still the most awaited Serious Sam game of last decade, so how can I not recommend playing it?

Эта игра - показатель того самого качества игр в Early Access, которые должны были быть. Не дерь.мище, которое скинули в Steam и забили на него, а постоянно обновляемая игра, девелопер которой ещё и активно взаимодействует с фанами.
Теперь о самой игре: лучший симулятор "развития", который я когда-либо видел. Здесь столько всякой хе.рни, что за всем и не уследишь, причём дальше будет только больше. Кому нравится подобный жанр - просто грех будет пройти стороной! За всего лишь 500 рублей (на момент написания) вы получаете что уже сейчас есть + будущие добавления контента, не забудьте только связать аккаунт Steam на сайте игры, лол.

The Talos Principle... Fascinating game, really. The story keeps you going to the end along with the secrets and reference easter eggs which can make you smile or even surprise with: "oh my, this specific reference is so genius!". Game mechanic is also great, every game item can be combined to create stunning puzzles. On the other side is... DLC. Yea. Honestly, it sucked. I mean, its story didn't go far away from original game (maybe for someone that's a good thing), puzzles are extra hard (again, maybe this DLC is for someone for whom original game isn't enough), but my opinion on this one is that it's a sh.it. Yes, there - I said it.
Now, enough hate. Overall this game is awesome, it runs on Serious Engine (the same engine used in Serious Sam) which gives you very good graphics, realistically good. I'd recommend this game to all Serious Sam fans that got kinda boring shooting in every godda.mn level (this game has a minigun, tho you'll not be able to use it, heheh!) and want to just chill and relax with a beautiful music that was composed by the same guy who composed music for Serious Sam (Damjan Mravunac)! Now go and buy this game, you won't regret it.

Certainly worth buying. It's the updated graphics, source engine and a lot of small features (like portable flares). If you're not satisfied with original HL - this remake might be just for you.
Overall: Great game, but still unfinished (what's taking so long to make a good Xen? 3 years have passed!).

Definitely recommend buying even if it can be played for free. It's the classic, the legend, the nostalgia game that came from the end of previous century and still plays pretty well.

Ну, что стоит сказать насчёт этой игры...
Во-первых, она действительно достойна для игры это уж точно - тут вам и пазлы, и РПГ и даже капельку экшна в некоторых моментах, ну и персонажи с сюжетом тоже дают о себе знать, хоть и не выделяются-то особо сильно.
Во-вторых, играть в это приятно сколь угодно - геймплея тут навалом, хоть я за один присест и прошёл, лол. Разнообразие головоломок и ах*ительные взломы просто потрясают. Да, бывало что и бесило это п*здец когда сдыхал очень тупо, но в целом ведь игруха кульная.
Короче - покупать стоит, если хочется отдать дань разработчикам. Особенно учитывая то, что мало контента об этой игре в инете вообще, от чего я шокирован просто был. Эх...
