Full disclosure, my best friend developed this game and I sat through with him on a lot of the development process, so obviously I'll be a little biased. Yes, the game is hard. That seems to be a universal consensus. But it's also very entertaining to solve puzzles. That difference will probably be the ultimate determining factor in whether or not you end up enjoying the game. If you like hard games, you'll like this. And that's not even mentioning the story, which I believe is worth it for the game alone, especially now when it's free.

It's a lot of fun, very addicting. The premise of the game is that you're a spaceship, trying to collect ammo and surviving as long as you can. The ship fires and moves automatically, so all you have to worry about is steering and boosting. Evidently, I haven't gotten very far in it yet, but from first impressions, the game is a lot of fun. The simple controls make for a fun, frantic, bit-sized adventure that keeps you saying "just one more game." In the way of complaints, my only one is that it definitely feels like a mobile game, in that the controls seem suited more for a touch screen than a controller, and the monetary system seems directly ripped from Sonic Dash and the like. Still, if you can get past that, or even better, get this game on Android or IOS, than it's an absolute blast.

Let me prep this review by saying one thing: I usually don't like multiplayer games. That is, until Team Fortress 2. Before this, the realm of my multiplayer experience lied solely on Smash Bros (and even then, I was the "Fox only final Destination no items" sort of guy). So what was it about Tf2 that changed my mind? Well, let's start with the obvious first; the aesthetics. It's a gorgeous game, with a 20th century cartoonish art style, and a personality Fallout hopes it can achieve. Every class is commically over-exaggerated, leading to a really pleasant experience for my eyes and ears. With that, let's talk about the core gameplay, shall we? The game is a team-based FPS, with a boat-load of modes, ranging from the familiar capture the flag to control points, to odder modes such as pushing the carts. The game has nine classes, each with their own strengths and weaknesses to contribute to the team. Every half hour of playing or so, you'll get a random item via a dropping system. Items are organized into primary, secondary, and melee, which is self-explanatory. What I like about the items is that they aren't clear upgrades, they have their own strengths and weaknesses. While their are a lot of modes, offline is limited to playing with bots, and it's boring, especially considering you're items are saved via cloud, so during offline you can't even use your items. That said, online is a great experience, especially with a team of nice players. A mode I've neglected to mention is man vs machine, which has a team of 6 players going against hundreds of bots, collecting money to buy upgrades along the way. While this mode costs a dollar to play, you can reap a good amount of rewards, ranging from robot parts, to the coveted australium weapons, which do nothing except look pretty. These items can be sold on the market, and the aforementioned australiums can charge upwards of 80 bucks! that aside, it's a living and breathing market a la W.O.W., and I think it's cool that real world concepts such as supply, demand, and inflation apply to the in-game market.
All in all, I give the game a 9 out of 10, a great time as long as you have friends to play with.
