Usually I just make meme reviews with the only semblence of my actual opinion being the yay or nay options that Steam mandates, but I felt like writing something real this time.

Unlike the base game, where I love it but understand it is a horrible game, this is a genuinely fantastic experience, and I would strongly recommend anyone who owns the base game to give this a shot. It's not like you have any reason not to considering it is free of charge. This DLC plays completely differently to the base game, which is a tedious task-based game in a huge Disneyland-like restaurant. In contrast, this DLC package is a linear, progression-based adventure where simply walking forward is making progress.

Visually, while the DLC is no masterpiece, even on low settings this looks really good, and significantly better than the base game. The V.A.N.N.I. world is a real treat for the eyes, and overall, this looks so much better than the base package. Tonally, this is very distinct too.
While I don't think this game does a great job keeping up the comedy part in the comedy/horror tone that the series has been known for, this game got some genuine scares out of me. Moments like the Fazer Blast chase sequence really got me, and the darker lighting does wonders for this DLC. This is probably the scariest game in the entire series since FNaF 4.

I also appreciated the story and storytelling a lot more with this compared to the base game. While the story here has some strange implications for the series as a whole, as its own, this feels really well done. There is one clear objective through the game: finding Gregory. The game doesn't leave behind burning questions that really should be answered here. It, of course, leaves questions. (Really, is it a Five Nights at Freddy's game if it doesn't?) But nothing that needs to be answered now.

And the gameplay is really fun too! Hunting for child nodes and then solving code-breaker minigames on parent nodes is really fun with the Faz-Wrench and Security Mask. Plus, the locked doors that require the Faz-Wrench are simple, but fun ways to make the player think, or to add tension to a chase sequence. There are also no cheap ways to escape death. No exploiting the bad A.I. with hiding spots or elevated surfaces, no Fazbears to hop into at a moment's notice, no ray guns or shockingly outdated cameras, just pure adrenaline.

And best of all, it is relatively bug-free and polished. That was the main point of contention for Security Breach back when it launched. But this experience has been touched up way more before launch, this doesn't feel like something rushed out last minute. It's not absolutely perfect, there are some very minor issues on occasion, but nothing that will cause your immersion to break.

If you own Security Breach already, play this as soon as you can. It's not an absolutely perfect experience, but it is the best the series has ever been. (Yes, even better than Help Wanted. At least that's how I feel.) This is worth your time, through and through, no rose-tinted shades this time. Hell, for some, this may even be worth buying Security Breach just to play on its own.
