Surprisingly this game still holds up after 9 years, sure the graphics here and there take you out of it for a bit even at high settings it feels like a game from 2016 rather than 2013. The quick time events can be glitchy and unimmersive as well as the Uncharted: "follow the yellow spray painted wooden ledge" in this case its white and only noticable when you are turned around or stuck during a puzzle Imo. Overall the game mechanics and survival are exactly what you wold expect for a first of its kind for its time. 8/10

Morrowind is one of those old games where you hear great things about it and come in with your current experience of future games and their expectations, and are disappointed. Now you may be wondering why This is a positive review, this is because it is biased as I played the Xbox version as a kid, that being said this game laid the foundation for open world games,without it we wouldn't have Skyrim or the like. Morrowind is exactly what it sets out to be, and as you grow slowly with the world and unravel its Bethesda like caves and dungeons, the game gets easier and you start to have fun with the wackiness of The Elder Scrolls games, because that is what these games need, less realism and more originality and wackiness. The smaller and more detailed the world, the cozier.
