The appeal of this game can also be seen as its largest pitfall: It is truly MASSIVE.

This game has so many different items, gear sets, activities, areas, NPCs, playable characters, abilities, and lore that it truly seems impossible for an individual to experience the entire game on their own. Regardless, if you do get into this game, you will inevitably spend quite a few hours in it.

This game certainly changed my view and standards of how MMORPGs are supposed to be. It has a great variety of Life-Skilling (fishing, hunting, and the like), PvE, and PvP. PvP is largely the weakest link of these three, but being as this is an MMORPG and not a fighting game, that's worthy of a pass.

All I can say is: If you have a little bit of money and A LOT of time to spare, sit down and give this game a shot. That first 100 hours is an experience unrivaled among MMORPGs.

Endless fun, well-thought items (with lore and a logbook!), incredible boss boss fights, many goals to achieve, and multiplayer fun with an active modding community.
Spend your money on this game. You will not regret it. You can sit down and play it at your leisure, pause the game in singleplayer, and aim for 100% if you're a perfectionist.
(Also, for the people on lower-end PC's, this game has simple, cell-shaded graphics that scale down nicely and the game itself performs great.

Mirrors Edge and Dead Island had a love child and called it Dying Light, that's all you need to know.

Even though it is easy to be mislead or lost in this game, especially if you bought it without any knowledge elsewhere, it's very fun. It can be hard to find servers and game modes that you find enjoyable, but it is very fun on the inside. It's basically every game in one, and a very active community to make it.

Early Access Review
Great game if you have the computer power to run it. It takes a LOT of computer power, and almost no CPU-based person will be able to run this game at more than 60 FPS. I'd highly recommend a good computer and some friends to play this with, and a way to calm yourself down when you get raided by Russians.
