played the living hell outta l4d 1&2 on the 360. this game was lost in the farthest depths of my human mind. until i heard about a massive update to the game and i must say the game is so much more enjoyable on pc and with the lastest update i find myself lost in the realms of the darkest hallways fighting for my life for hours on end all over again and i love it very much.

Nothing quite like wrecking a few vehicles and watching your opponents flip around in a frenzy of destruction while rocking out to one of the most legendary soundtracks a game has to offer. after the flatout series was ruined, it's nice to see bugbear create something truly amazing again.

It's no DiRT 2, at all. Not even as good as DiRT 3, but it's an alright addition to the series. It has some issues, however they're not huge deal-breakers for me. I don't find Gymkhana as fun as it was in the third one but maybe I haven't dabbled in enough on this yet. Bumping uglies and trading paint feels very underwhelming, especially compared to Codemasters other games, like their GRID series and previous DiRT games. Little things missing like tracking achievements and stat trackers along with limited sponsors and cars just make me wanting more...

They introduce a couple of hit and miss race types. The sprint races and ice breaker races are an actual joke. Kinda seems they are purposely in the game to be funny. At the same time, the rock climbing/bouncing is quite the fun.

Online doesn't seem to work very well. The wait is notoriously long just to find a race with one other person. The playgrounds aspect in retrospect is very thrilling. Loads of fun to drive around on playgrounds created by the community.

Everything else this game has going for it is pretty spot on for me. The style, art, music, graphics, I mean this is one of the most beautiful racing games I've ever played and it makes doing the same races over again actually not that mind numbing because there's so much to look at. The handling takes some getting used to but once you get the hang of it, it makes drifting around each corner satisfying to the soul.

The thing I enjoy most about it this game is that it's set up perfectly for the series to continue this way, while the rally series can continue to do it's thing. Best of both worlds, what's not to love? My only wish is that they added more things to do. I beat the career in a matter of days and with online being very limited I find myself with nothing left to do other than making races in arcade mode over and over again.

Can't wait for new and hopefully improved content.

The people complaining about this game are clearly Forza fanboys. This is an arcade racer, not a sim... I'm only like 4 hours in and it's the GRID experience I was expecting and more. The seasons add so much extra content on an already decent sized package. It's just like all of Codemasters other racing games <33 Getting the ultimate edition for 15 bucks a year later is also insane.

The AI isn't too bad either, not sure what people are talking about. Even at hard, I'm able to get gold. The only issue I do have is that it's practically impossible to spin the AI out, yet they can spin you out with absolute ease.

been playing dirt since the first one and this is def a great installment. The campaign is basic, but fun. I enjoyed having the triple crown event pop up near the end. no one plays online however :(

literally didnt wanna play it becuase i knew i'd be hooked right away and sure enough those 30 minutes turned into 30 seconds. Why not wet our whistle with at least an hour of gameplay???? i can't wait any long my god!
