I was super reluctant to purchase this game and get involved with how little I knew about DND and the backstory. BOY am I happy I swept in. To say I recommend this game is an understatement. I've purchased it 4x over with the amount of times I've gifted it and encouraged 5 others to buy as well. The sheer amount of variety and things you can do makes this game simply fantastic. Couple it with the fact that there will inevitably be a creator mode for user-driven stories--think Game of Thrones and LOTR mods--makes me absolutely RANDY. TL;DR: Just pull the trigger. This WILL be game of the year.
