One of the best rogue-lites i have ever played, this game at first glance is pretty simple but the overall depth with a combination of pushing enemies around and having to consider what sacrifices you are wiling to make to accomplish the mission. I finally managed to finish a run on unfair difficulty and i do have to say it is pretty fair but it just doesn't give a ♥♥♥♥ to giving you any peace, so please if you are on the edge of getting this game... get it, it's a experience you can't get anywhere else

Well it's portal with better graphics, running a rtx 3060 with everything turned to max i was averaging 30fps and it ran smoothly only really stuttering at transitions... but that's to be expected. otherwise this works perfectly and all good

Ok i've played through the game and thoudht it was pretty good just some things to say,
at the beginning of the game it tells you that mouse scroll up to open inv without anything to say settings for tab, so anyone who were to play this on a laptop would have a harder time. but this is definitly best expirenced on mouse as you can kinda feel that helplessness of lonly one arm with mouse only controls.
it had great atmosphere and it plays well.
this game suffers from balance issues,
the flare is almost completly useless except maybe for the one room you start in maybe if you could push down middle mouse button to look further ahead you could use the flare for vision. At the monkey part one flair doesn't kill the monkey, which makes you wonder why they give you so many flares. although it is usefull at the veriy end of the game but that makes you wonder why you get it halfway through for something that's only truely used for the end of the game.
but my one concern about balance is the crossbow
it is a one shot kill for almost everything
you get almost too many bolts (which are called bullets?) i feel that 2 is the perfect amount. a bolt being a one shot to everything kinda makes it so the revolver is useless because after this there are never enemies that are right next to each other except in one of the final rooms where there were 2 rat things next to eachother, and used the revolver to kill them. but i was quickly dispached by the monkey a way to fix this would be make it a 1 shot to the rat thing and to regular zombie things be a one shot if they are not aware of you, but if they are 2 bolts with maybe a bolt = 3 revolver bullets. and the bolts are way to easy to regrab and reload maybe have the reload take a bit longer as when the string goes back it's much less on the inv bow next to the actual thing. and if the bolt has hit a target maybhe have you actually grab the bolt.

the inventory is really good but gets too big
i found this to be how big each thing was
3 (1 1/2 rows) bullet = 1 shotgun
6 bullet (3 rows) = 1 flare
but having the bullet take more place than a shotgun shell makes it so you hold maybe at max 2 bullets for a majority of the game.

reccomendations
i see potential in this
honestly a randomly generated lab would be interesting(yeah yeah i like roguelites)
a lab builder would be cool (so people could share on the workshop or something[this would basically get rid of the above reccomedndation])
more ambient music

but i would definitly reccomend this and look forward to the future

also i like the update making it more clear where each weapon goes with the holsters

note a rogue like mode and modding was added: nice

this game is perfect, by far the best open world game i have ever played. and this is the only game i have 100% on in my steam library. i will recomend this game heavily.
