I used to play this game back when Half Life 2 mods had to be downloaded and manually updated from ModDb. It was a great experience.

The gameplay was truly one of a kind. You'd play with powerful teched up classes, fun and unique weapons, as well as fight in cyberspace. That was a unique part of the mod; the cyber battlefield, where you had to hack as if you were beating information out of a computer. A team needed to work together well in the physical and cyber battlefields in order to be successful, which made the gameplay even more action packed.

This mod has died out after many years. I hope that like Insurgency, this great mod can get a much needed rebirth.

Nice addition to the game. Makes you think of better logistics to improve your city's infrastructure. It's also free! Nice of Colossal Order to add something that can usually make or break a city for free.

Intense PVP and PVE action. It's similar to CSS, but more realistic, with really loud explosions. It will be hard getting used to dying very quickly from an RPG, but you'll have fun getting into intense firefights. Mod support could be better, but will improve over time.

It's free, fun, and pretty exciting and engaging, even for a nearly 7 year old game. I still play it to this day. If you are F2P, you can ask a friend to give you a pack that about 2.50 USD or so that makes you a paid in player.

I have to admit, though buying weapon skins and such aren't exactly my thing, the core elements of play are there from the original CSS. The interface and gameplay are smooth, even with my old computer. Anyone who is a true fan of Counter-Strike will love to know that Valve had YOUR best intentions in mind, to make a good 'sequel', and I love that. Very much worth buying.
