It's a very difficult game that triumphs in skill and practice, but hey, isn't that so with every other multiplayer game?

Insurgency is a very realistic multiplayer FPS that makes every shot in the dark (sometimes literally) to make this game hardcore and real. You can take weapons available for your selected role in the team and customize them with attachments to make them easier to handle and deadlier to use. Every shot counts and getting hit will most likely mean your death, as a ton of the weapons deal high damage and all can be equipped with armor penetration rounds to make kills easier. There are even missions in the night, forcing you to use flashlights and night vision goggles to keep you aware of your surroundings.

Getting kills in this game is incredibly satisfying, because the weapons do so much damage, and you know that you got that kill because you outsmarted and outplayed the people that try to threaten the progress of your team. It's also rewarding to defend objectives, because a single person can single-handedly hold a chokepoint crucial to the other team's success, granted you can get past any of the smokes and grenades the enemy team throws down.

If you're the kind that has the patience to practice and adopt to high skill ceilings, then this game is definately for you.

The prologue made me want to cry.

This game is amazing. For something that's early access, it's very fun and easy to get a grasp of the bells and whistles of this game. Unfortunately, this game isn't very populated all the time, and when it is, the servers are usually high ping because most of the servers are EU. Until this game gets more people and playability in terms of ping, I don't think this game is worth the price it is now.

Fistful of Frags could possibly be the Call of Duty 2015 we've all been waiting for.

Every time I try to write a guide for this game, I come off with some stupid meme or gut my emotions out like a fish. So... here goes?

The Long Dark is a game I haven't played in a really long time. It's a game I bought during its early access stages, and I really enjoyed that eerie, tense feeling of helplessness it created with an atmosphere that can create a wide variety of emotions. The music is beautiful, the art is really distinguished and well-designed, and the game provides a lot in terms of a survival game. There's a lot about this game that I really love.

...unfortunately, I am a pansy and I got turned off by the unmotivated "I guess I'll lie down here and die" followed by the barely audible screaming of my character as he gets mauled to death by a wolf. I'm also not a big fan of button mashing to punch/stab/bludgeon predators off you; I feel like if you have a hatchet, you should at least have a chance to swing it at a wolf before it pounces and attacks you. Minor gripes aside, I think this is a game worth trying. The devs really stuck around for the long haul, and it shows through with the Wintermute Redux.

Holy crap this game is wierd.
If Battle Bears and Team Fortress 2 were to be married (heaven forbid this being the case), this would be it's adorable little child. With aspects similar to tf2 and a REALLY good soundtrack, this game currently has me at a love hate relationship with it. You get to choose to play as the Striker ( an assault rifle toting racoon (guardians of the galaxy, anyone??)), a heavy (well... the heavy.) and the engineer (a bunny that runs around whacking people with a wrench, so demoknight...?) Anyway, the combat is surprisingly fun, and the fighting seems balanced. The only thing that makes this game bad is the fact that players who make use of the bunny hop (and some people LITERALLY doing the bunny hop as a bunny) make the combat seem broken, and some aspects of the game like opening crates or trying to get into that amazing looking Titanfall mech are just broken. Other than that, this game is pretty good and should, as always, only be played by people who are used to early access.

Ahhhh, Guncraft.
This game is good and bad on so many levels, but it's the playability that makes it more of a no instead of a yes. The game has a hilariously sad lack of player activity, and even if there are tons of people playing this game, they don't have dedicated servers to rely on or even proper connection to host their own servers. (well, unless you have hamachi, but that's a different story.) Other than that, there are little problems that make this game bad, except maybe certain weapons (community made, specifically) are either too powerfull or suck more than a vaccuum. Unless you have great patience, you're not going to gain anything from this spin off of Ace of Spades disappointment.
