Fantastic game in which you basically haul freight across European roadways in a semi trailer. The strength of the game for me is in portraying the various types of scenery reasonably accurately, sprinkled with accurate renditions of roadside hallmarks like bridges and tunnels etc, along with the occassional attraction viewable from the road.

If I have one small complaint with the basic game nowadays, it is that the DLC have caught up with the original to such an extent that the later DLC's feel much better than the basic game, especially the cities. (Edit: Starting to become an invalid complaint, as SCS have just started updating their initial areas, starting with northern Germany)

There is also a fairly small management component, allowing you to purchase additional garages and trailers, and hiring drivers to work for you, but this is by no means the focus of the game.

Two of the main draws for me, is the sense of exploration of Europe, and the fact that it is a very relaxing experience.
