A SaGa game for SaGa fans. The short worlds accommodate quick pick-up-and-play style if you're into that. The worlds and characters are charming, though character acquisition is a bit hard on your first few playthroughs. The soundtrack is amazing as usual, and the battle system is in my opinion the best in the series, it's very addictive.

The game is meant to be replayed as doing so unlocks more scenarios for each protagonist and for each world, which leads to different outcomes. The worlds you get each playthrough are somewhat picked at random, so you get a different experience each time. Each protagonist (except Bonnie & Formina) has a unique mechanic to them, so even if you're visiting variations of the same worlds, you get something different. The scenario length also varies by character.

I want to emphasize the fact that this game is meant to replayed, if you're looking for something to play once, this game might not be for you. Though having said that, a few of the scenarios are 20~ hours long if you take your time with them. If you're curious, you can try the demo which lets you see a few worlds, and you can carry that save over for the main game.
