One of the easiest games to recommend on steam, and it's even impressively discounted in steam sales each year.

After playing, you'll wonder how this business model works when they sell it to you for 25% of the base price. Even Louie could afford it.

If you're looking for a quick game to play, get Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons. It works best with a controller, but can be played with a keyboard. The gist of it is that you control two brothers simultaneously to solve puzzles and complete action sequences. It gets awfully clever on you, and there are only very minimal cues in the game. That is, it rarely tells you what buttons you need to press. In fact, you've only got the movement controls for each brother and a button to make each of them separately interact with stuff in the environment. There's dialogue but it's audible only in gibberish and only serves to convey character emotion and build on the personalities of the cast. Through the journey you come to know the characters by the quirky way you control them, i.e. you'll probably end up paying more attention to one brother, while the other larks off in some other direction (keeping track of two characters at once is deceptively difficult.)

It's only a few hours long, but the price is right. It's almost criminal that during the last steam sale I was able to get it for something like $2.50. Normal price $15, it's actually on sale for $7.50 right now. Get it.
