Yet another failed vampire game. Uninspired, bland and boring, while now also abandoned, soon to be delisted and possibly unplayable afterwards. What is it with vampire games and their never ending success? Is it that hard to make a proper vampire game or are they all destined to fail?

After so many copy-paste games in the parkour mountain climbing genre comes Peak, an actually good game. Simple yet hard to master, lots of different items to help you in your journey or mark your doom. Play solo or with friends, latter makes it much more fun as you can witness your friends fall to their death or be the one that placed a banana peel that resulted in their demise. The choice is yours, cheap yet provides countless hours of funny shenanigans.

This is definitely an experience, from awesome visuals to an amazing sound effects and great mocap performance from Melina Juergens, this definitely kickstarted the realism in video games when it comes to it. Gameplay portion of the game consists of walking simulator parts with monologues about the mental state and recalling of the past, combat and puzzle sequences. Former I don't have to explain, you go through some visually stunning areas during the monologues so you have something to occupy yourself with it story doesn't kick it for you. Puzzles on the other hand have some cool and interesting mechanics, like different realities when moving through certain mirrors, or day and night time of the same area being different, so you can swap out between them to complete various puzzles.

But combat is my pet peeve for this game, everything else is fine as is, but combat is a slog and first encounter is exactly the same as every other in the game and there's WAAAY too many of them. They even recycled the boss fights, absolutely horrible. This could've been a game without these as well, apart from maybe leaving in the boss fights that actually have an impact, the rest is just slop. I would suggest getting it on sale, unless you're a real big Nordic mythology fan, then you might enjoy it more, but that doesn't kick it for me.

Only tried this after playing the second game and I can safely say they did it justice, this feels like Risk of Rain with their sequel being the same game but in third person. Although when it comes to this franchise, first game is by far much harder to play through, where in second game you can simply win by knowing how to play a third person shooter, in this game you need to upgrade your gear to have a better chance. Losing the cursor is a big problem and there seems to be no settings to make it easier to spot, which is not fun.

Fast paced city builder with gold mining where your only goal is prosperity. Make saloons and other buildings to increase likelihood of people coming into your town, then build shops and town halls to collect taxes to get even richer. Fun but challenging if you want to get all the achievements.

Shallow, unbalanced and pointless. Amazingly varied open world biome wise, extremely empty and dead. You get 6 "free" drops per region before you start getting negative perks on top, so exploration is not a thing, the fact that there's 5 different enemy types is also contributing to that. You play the first region's "quests" and you've seen the whole game. The only reason to replay it is to get different gear, but it's all so similar that it doesn't even feel good.

Bought this for the clothes and not being able to spawn them in without jumping through hoops in single player is not fun. As others have suggested, make a DLC item trader that only sells items to those that own them, locking this behind plastic surgery is stupid.

Early Access Review
Battlefield Heroes if it wasn't a forced online game that was bound to shut down sooner or later, as do all online only games.

The biggest issue for me is the uninspiring enemy design, it just looks like crap. Generic gameplay matched with that is just not a good look, especially for the asking price, if on sale it would be fine. The only redeeming quality right now is the overly sexualised protagonist.

Developer is actively banning screenshots taken from the vanilla game and posted to the community hub. If they "violate" Steam community rules how is the game being sold in the first place and how come Steam never cared about screenshots posted as far back as release? This is hypocritical and should be an offense. Can't support anything from them at this point.
