the game has fun gameplay with its characters and a lot of cool ideas, but the maps and modes on offer are a little slim for a 34.99 game in my opinion. also with the big focus on new weekly cutscenes about the characters they could have more than like 3 lines in matches you know??? maybe a dif line when you turn the shield into armour not just one lol. the game seemingly has no reflil players if someone rages or any kind of punishment which is pretty alarming for a game like this. personally its not with buying with its player pool looking to go where its going right now, id say the game needs a retooling to a ftp model and maybe sell skins or something, the progression of unlocking gloves and recolours is not really doing anything for anyone, and the variants system is cool but badly implemented. i think there is something decent here somewhere but im puzzled in the way its presented and sold. id wait for a ftp relaunch or heavy discount but if thats the case will there be any players left. no new content till october!!! LOL
