Honestly. The best 2K I've played in years. Even better that the up to date "next gen" version has finally returned to PC after an all too long, and very unnecessary hiatus. I get a constant 60FPS across the board, except when traversing the City, it drops to 57/54. The builder feels fresh and the animations are really cool. MyERAs is fire. The new features added to MyGM is refreshing, and MyTeam seems to be in an okay place as well. I love what they did with the dribble system and the new Rhythm shooting mechanic is easy to master. I do have some complaints however.

The lack of an Offline variant of the MyCareer mode will always have me displeased, although expected every year.

The presentation mode has its highs, but as of launch, the halftime show is glitched.

(I know this isnt 2Ks fault specifically), but John Wall in arguably his best season and Blake Griffin missing during the Curry Era when both the aformentioned were at there primes is a travesty. The Curry Era is highlighted by the "Lob City" Clippers which unfortunately is absent this year amidst player licensing issues.

The VC needed to max out a player is waaaay too high. Id settle for maybe 200k for a 99, but 200k only gets you to about 85.

The Soundtrack is okay, I would've loved to hear some throwback tracks from 2k13 - 16.

I've already run into a couple of cheaters in the Park.

MyPlayer progression is still too sluggish.

Overall I'd give this game a solid 8.5/10.
I'd even say picking it up before a sale is okay too. The game is just that fun.

This game does feel marginally different from the last couple of Madden iterations. However, the game is poorly optimized and you will suffer from constant framerate issues, no matter how far above the recommended specs of your PC setup is.

Also, and this is something petty, it looks worse than NCAA 25. A game published by the same company.

I honestly cannot believe im posting this review several years after buying this game. But I gave it another chance yesterday, the first or second time since launch.

The game is really fun. Its just Fallout 4, but with friends.

Only get it on sale tho. Its not worth standard price.
