Saints Row III is generally regarded as the best Saints Row game, and while I definitely think it's the epitome of the series' gang-based gameplay, Saints Row IV brings something different to the table with its unique setting and super power-like abilities.

Agents of Mayhem isn't a Saints Row game, but it takes the solid foundation and gameplay of the past Saints Row games and makes it into something I think is worth playing, and perhaps more importantly, fun.

Sure, I miss the character creator, but the game's characters all have their own side storylines dedicated to exploring their personalities in a bit more depth, which I think is a good way to differentiate it from Saints Row's focus on the player character.

The writing is as good as it's been in SRIII and SRIV so if that kind of humour's your thing, then you shouldn't have any trouble enjoying this game.
