Just finished the game.
• Story was better than that of most games.
• Level design is utterly amazing. best of any open world I've ever played.
• Loot system feels balanced to the point where its really annoying. It means side content wont overpower you, but at the same time, side content feels very unrewarding for giving you little scrap handouts. I understand why this was done, but this is a situation where the fun was balanced out of the loot. It just feels bad.
• Gear progression is well balanced, but same as my previous point, it means you'll never feel powerful which can take a lot of fun out of the game. Its well done, but I hate it.
• Companions are definitely a weak point. It starts of strong with the first, but every additional companion turns it from fun to being lore dumped.
• Side quests/side content feels very rewarding in terms of story. What & when you do it matters -and thats cool. A lot better than in other open world games, where side content means nothing other than exp.

I'd recommend it, but with the note of rushing the main story if you feel burnt out towards 3/4 of the game.

most expensive f2p monetization game I own :/

Similar theme to pokemon, but without a difficulty curve aimed at a 7 year old. SImilar features to ark, but without the random crashes. Open World like most early access games, but it *feels* complete, for the price.

Game used to be really good. Last week I finally talked all my friends into picking it up with me. Especially with all the campaigns going free, and us having coop missions to do for weeks on end.

Got into the game, only to find out that about 80% of the game has been removed. None of the campaigns make any sense, now that the beginning campaigns are gone.

Shooting is still same old, same old. Gun mechanics are top tier, but as my friends put it: "If there's gonna be a bad story, I'd rather have no story at all". Cause right from the start, it feels like you're being given 'kill X amount of this', missions. And then the daily bounties are supposed to be the main content or something?!

Yeah, no thanks. I really really liked Destiny 2. But in its current state, I'd recommend all to stay away from it, because all ingame aspects that are F2P are essentially abandoned, and the few things that remain, are really not all that good.
