Pretty fun, better than expected

Fun game that's well balanced and designed. Every character has unique skills and upgrades.

Good FPS and story. Sadly it's a rather unknown game that fell under people's radar.

Play this if you have trouble falling asleep

Still one of the best RTS games out there today

Still the best RTS game out there, but...

The game needs serious updates and support for newer hardware. Stuck on the title page with a higher refresh rate monitor. Also have no audio when using my monitor's audio output, which causes the game to not close properly and needs to be force quit every time. Anyone who decides to start playing nowadays would have to go on a troubleshooting session before they can even play the game.

Only play this if these two conditions are met:

• You want more Yazuka stories, along with its minigames and silly side quests.
  
• The game is on a heavy discount. Don't pay more than $15 for this.

The bad:

• Combat is clunky and awkward.
  
• Movement is also clunky.
  
• Camera is poor and doesn't face the enemy while locking on.
  
• Graphics are poor for a remake. They could have done better.
  
• Enemies are damage sponges, and they hit you like a truck. It ends up being a battle of attrition. It's not fun.
  
• UI is poor with none of the streamlining or quality of life improvements you'd expect for a remake.
  
  • Want to change ammo? There's no quick swap. Navigate the full menus into your inventory.
    
  • Buying new weapons? There's no comparison with your current equipment. Hope you memorized your weapon stats.
• Selection in some menus have an annoying delay before and after inputs.
  
• Friendship bonds are repetitive and grindy. You repeat the same action multiple times before something happens.

I've played all the Yakuza games from 0 till Gaiden. This is the worst one. This is a re-release/port marketed as a remake, most likely for the RGG studio to experiment with UE4, instead of actually improving an old game.
